Here’s just one of what feels like countless ads broadcasting on Japanese television advertising Final Fantasy XIII’s eastern December 17th release date. If I were to judge, I’d probably say this is the best advertisement shown yet for the game.

To me, this is the sort of trailer us westerners are going to get, the visuals are very nice though. I still prefer the Japanese Ads mind, they're creative and original (y)

It's a really nice trailer, I was watching it over again and paused it before the action started and had a weird shot of Snow which kinda looked hillarious. On the other note, it does look like a great trailer and comparing it to a recent trailer I saw of Bayonetta, which got 40/40 and is a Japanese game, I must say this would make me more attracted to the game than Bayonetta would.

Either way, I love both of them, and getting them anyway despite the extra promotion (lots for FF13 mind you!).

The Japanese music in the background was kind of distracting with the characters speaking, but I guess it's just a matter of taste. After all, I'm not japanese, so they aren't marketing it towards me.

To be honest, I doubt Final Fantasy needs any marketing at all over in japan. They could just announce the release date and people would swarming over it.

I still don't get why Serah was crying that time she and Snow kissed under the fireworks :ness:

And I just noticed this, but did Yun Fang throw something which Lightning shot at that brought Bahamut out?

I get the feeling that Lightning secretly likes Snow and is trying to hit on him whenever she can. <_<

I just want to tell her to eff off already! :gasp:

I honestly don't think that's what it is. Although we don't know their ages (I think we don't...), regardless of that, to me it seems Lightning has adopted a big sister role to Snow. Technically she would've been his sister-in-law but while she probably didn't approve of his and Serah's engagement, she'd still want to make Snow a man worthy for her sis, so the occasional kick in the butt and encouragement is probably to be expected...I think.

...Or I could just be really wrong :ness:
