Here is a new trailer for FFXIII, IMO it is drastically different from the previous trailers we have seen so far. It includes new footage, appears to reveal some of the story and is actually in English too. Hope you enjoy :D

Pretty kick-ass. You're right, it's a bit different from what we're used to seeing. I quite like Lightning's voice too. The rest were fairly decent as well from the sound of it. Still not too sure about the battle-system but it's just a matter of getting used to it when we start playing it. I really can't wait for this game!
 
Awesome, thanks for sharing this. I'm quite excited to play this game now just to see how it is.. I just really hope it isn't another FF-12 that game was too easy Dx Oh well, 13 looks amazing but I wish that it released this year T^T Guess I'll have to wait patiently still.
 
Huh...I saw a different FFXIII video from E3 and Lightening's voice actor sounded different from the one in this video o_O

I mentioned somewhere else that I don't think the voice matches that well to what Lightening's personality is from the video I saw before, but I gotta I admit, I liker her voice in this video I just watched now.

But yeah, got some new stuff here! I assume the narrator at the beginning is the red head with pigtails, and a whole lot has suddenly seemed to be hinted at (that guy betraying Snow or something o_O)

And nosebleed at the minor glimpse of the guy with the short silver hair >//////<

And evil Quistis-like character with long hair! xD

The story revealed thus far seems very interesting as well. Kind of taking on some more sci-fi-ish aspects I think O.O
 
I had my doubts about FFXIII when the first trailer came out, but now I can't help but get more and more excited after each new trailer. I think that Sazh's voice is alright, but I thought that his Japanese voice made him sound funnier.

I wonder how summoning works. Like if it will be like FFX and XII where they'll come out and fight for you for a while.
 
My gosh that long haired chick looks like a chick version of Sephy. XD

That tall buff blondie with the beanie is pretty hot! :gasp:

Though I don't really like Lightening's voice that much. =/ It sorta feels too old for her appearance in my opinion.

I've come to the conclusion that the reason I play Final Fantasy these days is for the hot pixelised guys. XD

I'm not sure about the names "Lightning and Snow" They seem more like code names than names <_<
However, I'm pretty much getting excited about this game now, it seems better than XII battle system, might take a while to get used to it but I'm positive it's better <_<
 
Heh.

There's a lot of styles I keep on seeing. Did anyone notice the Vaan and Wakka lookalikes?

It looks pretty interesting, and i'm happy to hear that there was an accent (the girl at the start and her Australian(???) accent). It was a nice difference.

I've generally kept myself in the dark about FF13, mainly because I knew it was years away, but it's looking good. I'm liking the grown up feel to it all (kinda like FF12).

It's gonna be good :)
 
Oooooooh, who's the kid I wonder that Lighntning is trying to protect reluctantly? A new party member? <thinks of Vaan> I hope not.

Come to think of it, I do see some Final Fantasy VII-XIII connections.

Lightning is obviously a female parallel of Cloud.

That Cocoon woman looks like an inspiration from Sephiroth.

Sazh, like Barret is black and both use guns (except Barret has a gun arm of course).

Team NORA, though probably not your enemies here, give me that Turk vibe due to how they are mostly males with one female in the team.

Both games start off with trains.

The Holy Government and Shinra are both totalitarian in their established cities.

And like what AVALANCHE in VII does, the party in XIII seems to be a form of resistance (also in II, VI and XII in a way)

A man with ponytails= Hojo to me.

Anyways, every time I see the trailer I'm more impressed by the voice acting, especially when Lightning's angry, although I'm still convinced that blonde kid looks like Tidus >.>
As for graphics, having seen the bar raised on every PS3 game I've played from the likes of MGS4 to Killzone 2...Final Fantasy XIII tops both of them in terms of visuals and that video isn't even HD. As long as the have the character and story development with a decent battle system then I'm saying 40/40 will be achieved by FFXIII. 8D

Course the battle system will be better, It's on the PS3 so expect many shiny new things..

Trailer looks ok, saw silver haired villain (lolol), and yes Larxene has the right idea about the fit chick :wacky:

Looks good so far...like how you can still roam etc.
 
Is it just my fandom for Sephiroth's voice from KH2, or was that Siefer/Zell crossover guy with the trench sounding like him? Could he have voiced him? :wtf:
 
Omg the new bad girl does not look evil at all! She looks hot imho. She looks so cute without her glasses. But what the hell is her name? This game is going to kick so much ass! Also Lightning's voice is lovely!
 
Lightning's gonna be the first solid FF lead in years, I can just feel it. Great voice and oozing an effortless cool and toughness. Suck (lick?) on that, Tidus!

Ya I was thinking the same thing. I can see her being an ally.

The newer trailers look so much more promising. I hope I can get used to the battle system though.

We'll see!!!
 
The Tidus Kid everyones been referering too looks and acts alot more like Vaan too me, he already annoys me -_- gosh i hate that kid!

I'm really happy to see that Lightning and Snow got great voice actors. I was worried that we'd be stuck with another lead with an annoying voice (Tidus anyone?), but I'm glad that's not the case ^^

I thought James Arnold Taylor was an excellent voice actor and his voice perfectly suited Tidus.

The only cringeworthy part was that laughing scene, and Yuna's voice actress was just as much at fault.
