My Halloween Adventure!

I went trick or treating last night. Unfortunately I left the house at nine oclock...so by the time we started knocking on doors, everyone was done giving out candy. We only went to three houses. ^.^

I dressed up as a fairy princess. I have pictures, but my computer is not working legit, so I can't upload them.
I dressed my boyfriend up as a mummy, and his costume unraveled while we were trick or treating...so...he was walking around in tighty whities (thank god I made him wear them) and a tank top. lol.

We wanted to end the night at a nice restaurant, but by the time we packed up from trick or treating, it was already 11pm and everything was closed. We went to a local 24/7 Mexican restaurant and talked for a few hours. ^.^

We also went to the car rental place to file a report (my bf was in a wreck yesterday morning). We had to swap out our car. He only slept for half an hour yesterday, so as soon as we came home, he passed out. ^.^
Me too, I passed out too. ^.^
 
Sounds like an interesting night!

My Halloween was a lot less fun. I'll just say that my friend threw up all over me. Yeah that should sum it all up.

I haven't got any candy yet! I was going to go to the store to get all the halloween candy on sale, but I'm doing it tomorrow. Last night I was just feeling so yucky and I had so much work to do I didn't even get to go trick or treating
 
My Halloween was okay. I took my daughter trick or treating around the neighborhood (except of course the child molester across from us), and even brought a video cam with me. ^_^ Unfortunately, I had to say "trick or treat" and "thank you" for her, as she was way too shy to even say so. =/

Let's see...we went trick or treating at 7 p.m, and my stepmom was whining that I took her out too late because apparently, in Ohio, there's a rule that trick or treating starts at 6 p.m and ends at 8 p.m. Period. That's what I heard anyway, so unless someone can correct me, do so...because that really ticked me off. -_-

Anyway, that's pretty much it. I didn't dress up...I think the last time I did was when I was in 5th grade. =/ Perhaps next year I'll reconsider.

Ugh I know Mitsuki! I started trick or treating by like 8:30 ish and people were already done handing out candy. =[

I love dressing up. You don't normally get to dress up like that every day. I mean maybe you get to wear a dress and heals and makeup to go out to dinner every once in a while. But REAL dress up is so fun. ^.^
 
The good thing about halloween too, at any store you can buy just a whole bulk of it cheaper than anywhere else. I would have like to go trick or treating though because that is free candy!

I heard that trick or treating is like that here Mitsuki. I didn't get anyone come to my house mostly because I live out in the middle of nowhere, but where I used to live I used to go out at about 6:30pm and I was home by 8pm. and I don't really see too many people out after 7:30pm.
 
Omfg. I used to go trick or treating when I was like 11-13 with my friends, and we would come home with a HUMONGOUS bag of candy every year. And I would always catch my dad giving my hard earned candy out to the other trick or treaters when they came to our house. lol. >__<
 
Really? That'd odd. See because back in Cali, we'd start at 7 or 8 p.m, and would typically stay out until midnight...and even at that time, there'd still be people handing out candies. Heh, I guess it just depends on the neighborhood.

Anyway, I love it when people take the time to set props in their front yard. And I don't mean just Halloween decorations...but I mean, they'd actually build a mini haunted entrance, where it'd typically scare the little kids away. And when you reach the doorbell, a scary-looking werewolf answers and you're there wondering, "Is the candy really worth it?"
 
Since it was wednesday night we didn't do anything, since we have like....35647 pages of homework, but Saturday night is when im going to my friends halloween party ^_^ with alcohol and candy and music :D It's gonna be a great way to unwind after the long long long schoolweek...that is if Becky doesn't bug me all night since we're not speaking....

As for costumes...well Tanya and the girls said if you don't go in costume then they're gonna put makeup on ya, so i'm gonna wear a black top, with my black combats, and just wear a cape (because their super stylish) and take a big stick to hit the people who're going who i don't like XD
 
Yeah it depends on the neighborhood. I wanted to go out to Hollywood because I knew people would be going crazy out there. lol. But my bf said it was too dangerous. We just went to some nice (rich) residential areas. lol.


AG, at least it's easy to dress up. I mean all you really need is a cape and that's it. ^.^
 
Yeah....If you went to rich areas they give you large candy bars and those little treat bags. Well there are some cheap ass rich people as well that give you one or two small pieces of candy.:dry:

On Halloween, basically I stayed at home playing Phoenix Wright. I stayed around the front door to hand out candy to any trick or treaters. I got one group of kids that night. =/ Their aren't many kids that live by me. Anyways, I have a huge stash of candy now since my dad brought two huge bags of candy. The ones they sell at wholesale clubs.

Lmao. He could have said he was Brad from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. :monster:

I completely forgot it was Halloween so I had no candy to give out. Well, except Lindt Truffles but there was no way they were getting those. And then I went to work. All in all, not a very eventful night.
 
As odd as it sounds, I'd never been to a house party until Wednesday night. The one I went to wasn't bad, but the Sky box (satellite TV) kept freezing up on all the good songs (Lordi FTW :wacky: ). Then we went to a club, and we all snuck in a couple of cans of Carlsberg each that didn't get finished, because we're tight like that. :wacky:
I went as a ghost... of myself. xD
 
Well what did everyone do for Halloween!?
I finished school 1 hour later - always do on a Wednesday - at 4:40. After, my friend Maxine and I found Wai-Yee, who had just finished her Work Experience down the road. Wai-Yee dressed up as Superman in school then we caught the bus to town - as I do every day. There, we bought some food from Marks and Spencers before my dad took us all to my house. In the end, we didn't eat what we bought but my mum made us veggie hot dogs! As well as that, we watched The Nightmare Before Christmas, which was alright. Then we played on SingStar for about 30 minutes. A short night, really.

What did everyone dress up as?
I didn't dress up as anything but, as I said above my friend dressed up as Superman. :P

How much candy did you get?
None. Maxine thinks trick or treating is begging so refuses to do it.

The whole fun of Halloween is to dress up! I went as Chun-Li, I even did up my hair in buns which is a lot harder than it looks
 
I didnt do a thing, people round here are so boring, just got afew kiddies tick or treating and thats about it. As for the weekend I don't think there were many parties because it's bonfire night tomorrow so everyone was having their bonfires & firework displays lastnight.

Oh I tell a lie, I went to the circus last night, but it was pretty naff really......I so want to go to a fancy dress party. I have an expensive fairy outfit & a castsuit I need to get my use out of :(
 
I was a magic cat lol and my boyfriend dressed as a Satan which was coolio. We went to a club, but it was too small and am packed, so I begged to go to his local instead. He wasnt happy with that, but we ended up going there and having fun. We played pool for a while, lsitened to a local band, did a horror quiz and was 1 point from winning!, had a free buffet, drank alot and basically had fun! His local is coolio as they love the PoC films, so the pub is pirate themed and at Halloween, thats fun!
 
Well I probably take the crown for worst Halloween. I spent it at work on nightshift :(

However we did play ghostbuster song from the film (classic) and Thriller over the speaker system, lol.
 
Besides the trick or treating and the candy and the dressing up, I liked all the Horror movies that were on the day before and the day of halloween. I watched them the whole week before I was actually disappointed the day after when I went to the channel that had a lot of the movies and I realized "Oh yeah, it's after halloween". They have the best movies on Halloween.
