Did anyone else fight alllll the way through the damn extra area of the Henne Mines,only to die on Zodiark? I got him down to A MILIMETER of health only to have my arse handed to me when I just KNEW one more hit and the fucker would be dead?

I was livid. Zodiark is a nob, and I' gunna have to go ALL THE WAY BACK THROUGH THE CUNTING MINES. Why oh why isn't there a save crystal near by, it sucks balls so bad. It's not even like getting there was a walk in the park eithr becasue it wasn't D:

I'm not looking forward to the trip through Henne Mines anyway, what with it having some of the toughest enemies in the game And then seeing you rant in the SB last night, I'm a little worried as to what'll happen to me. xD

There's seriously NO savepoint close at hand? O_O Cos that sucks donkey bollocks. And I'm EVEN MORE reluctant to go after the tosser.

The closest save point is that orange gate crystal. I ran through again today, and it took me an hour ro get there kill him and get back (a shorter route opens up on the way back, which helps) I didn't mess about though, I wasn't looking for chests this time, it was an A to B job incase I died again D:

Lucky for me, I didn't or I think I'd of chucked another spaz. I'l have to go back and raid the chests I think.

Just be thankful that you didn't get the second Zodiac Spear down there before dieing. THAT would've been a huge slap in the tits.

Not tried Zodiark yet. Kind of just stopped playing XII one day......haven't put it on in about 2 months now.

No idea why.

Overall i didn't find him hard at all. I destroyed him in under a minute and i was only on level 65.

Nah, I was lucky enough to beat him the first round. The battle did take forever though. He kept making himself invulnerable to physical attacks and magic attacks... so my guys just circled him like a bunch of horny surfers circling the girl that just lost her bikini top to the tide.

Do you know that there's a secret exit exactly where you defeat him that takes you right back to the entrance?

Anyway, aye, he's a wanker - not because of the fight but because, like you, I was unaware of the secret exit and fought my way back several times. First time I thought of just fleeing all the way there but because it's all one map + all of the enemies can teleport and run really quickly, that ended in a mess. Second time, I tried vanish and it ran out just in the middle of a few hundred ghosts or so, so that ended badly. After that, I just...lost the will. xD

I was aware of the secret exit, I legged it out as soon as I beat him, I died ON Zodiark, not after xD aid exiot takes you out to the Feywood fool, cant believe you didnt know there was another way in >_>

Its blocked off until after you beat him. I didnt go that way though, the save crystal was closest, and although I knew that way would be safer, I jsut couldnt be bothered with the trek....had I died on my ayback, Id of just given up completely. It was sooo infruiating dtying when I knew oen more hit and he'd of been toast <_<

My guys took such a beating going through the Henne Mines just to get there to the boss fight. I literally was begging for my life when I got to the intro cinema for Zodiark the first time I fought him. My characters were low-leveled and there wasn't a save crystal close at all.

I got him fairly deep into his HP before he bum-raped me with his Reversa and Darkness or whatever the hell he shot out of his 5-year old face. I did lose my first battle to him, but beat him the second time venturing in there a day later.
