Hey I am planning to make a Piano Collection of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2,
tell me what you think about this one, I really need some feedback =)

Wow that's cool.

But did you know that there is already an official FFXIII Piano Collections? It was released in mid-2010. I purchased it last year. I thought it was good, but some songs are too hard for me.

Anyway, you should continue what you are doing regardless of this. For this song, I think it will be better if you continue with the chorus part. Probably some legato will help too. I would love to see your version of the 'Promise' and 'Vanille's theme'.

Perhaps you can also get some inspiration from the official XIII piano collections. And I can't wait to hear your XIII-2 pieces :)

Thank you both for your feedback,
I will use this thread to post the other pieces,
just working on FFXIII-2 Lightning vs Bahamut,
the original is awesome :D

Its both, I played many parts on my own into the programm,
but also needed to add some notes i couldn't play on my own in this tempo (specially in the last segment) and optimize some unclean notes =)
The sound of the piano annoyes me, I hope I can find another one.

Cid XIII-2
Yea, I heard all the pieces of FFXIII Piano Collection, they are really good,
"Fang's Theme" is one of my favourite.. And you're right, there are quite few hard pieces, but I love the parts, where you hear that some crazy stuff is going on :D

Yeah. I like them, but I still prefer the older piano collections.

can't wait to hear the Lightning vs bahamut piece.

Okay, I finished the second one, this time I played it with Line-in, not Midi, so I could use the Sound of the Stagepiano but I couldn't correct the accuracy =( I hope to get soon another Expander with better Sounds <.<

Wow! I like this one. I really wish it is longer, buy this is really good. I like how the piece seamlessly modulate a few times. But from the looks of the music sheet, it looks quite a moderately hard piece to me.

Oh and just saying, I think you improvised a little too much so much so that I can barely hear the melody at some parts. I may be wrong, but the melody here is derived from blinded by light instead of lightning vs bahamut? I really wish you had adapted more chords from lightning vs bahamut.

But great job anyways. I would never be able to compose such great arrangement (lol I never even tried composing songs before. I just play from sheet music :P)

EDIT: do you take requests? Because I would love to hear your piano arrangement of the first half of the second trailer's music (that slow and romantic piano segment just before lightning vs bahamut). :)

Thank you for your feedback,
yea i had some trouble to take the original melody line, because it doesnt sound that good on piano like it does with the brass section.

Oh i just found the trailer, I didn't heard that song yet, I will for sure do something out of this Trailer. Do you know the original Title of this Song in the Trailer?

They did not give an official name for the song yet unfortunately :(

Thanks anyway. Looking forward to it.
