Hey! So to put it quite simply... YES. The Witcher 3 is amazing.

I had never played a Witcher game before 3, and I was a little confused at the start, but the story more or less stands on its own terms and it is easy to follow along. It's engaging too. I love that even the most seemingly insignificant decisions you make in-game can change what happens way further down the line. It's not all rainbows and butterflies either - some of the choices just... suck. I know some complain about that but I think it makes for a better game. The map is absolutely gigantic and is packed full of stuff to do as well. I spent 80+ hours just completing the main quests and still had at least 20+ hours of side stuff to do (all of which actually feels meaningful and not just like padding). Plus it's gorgeous!

I could ramble about it all day but it's one of the better games I've played in years. Massive time sink but totally worth the buy!!

I've had a few hours to let it sink in. Ultimately, private universities don't want to have that many scholarship opportunities, as they're profit-driven businesses themselves. Considering how many people were fighting for them too, I suppose I can take consolation with the fact that it was a very fiercely competitive arena. I'm going to roll with that rationale and let that drown that stinging feeling of envy for the people who have just seen their prospective fees slashed completely. =/

Anyhoo, I don't wish to ramble too much. Thanks for your concern, Gal. I'll be okay. It just means an extra impetus to maximise the year ahead and do what I can to ensure I'm throwing money at them for the right reasons. xD
