Yeah that's what my friend told about me about LVNs too, and that I'd probably wouldn't like the job anyway. I'll be patient and stick to my current plans. =] I think I'll go for neonatal. I have a tendancy to change my mind a lot it seems, but then again I still don't know a great deal about the medical field, so once I get in and with enough experience, that's when I'll really make up my mind.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. I'm teaching myself Anatomy just so I can be prepared for the class later. xD Fortunately, my husband has a bunch of medical books since he's currently going for Surgical Technology.

The school I plan to apply for is a for-profit school (I know, I know...gotta be careful with those). At least right now, that's my plan. They offer BSN so I'm gonna shoot for that but before I finish the 3-year program I can start working as an RN. The tuition blows, but I think it'll work. I was considering taking LVN at my husband's school (sister-college to the one I'll be going to)...it'll be way cheaper and I'll get done faster, but they don't have an LVN bridge program. Well that, and I'm a bit iffy going for LVN, I guess.

So I'm going to be booked for the next 3-4 years it seems.

Good to hear school's going great for you. How long have you been in school for? I'm also trying to pursue nursing. (I was kinda going back and forth with that for a few years now). Gonna go for a private school early next year, otherwise I'm gonna be waiting forever just to take my science classes. I'm hoping to knock out my science classes at my community college this year (if there's room...hopefully there's room!!) to reduce the private school tuition. Sucks that I had to skip this semester but it was needed.

The way I see it I'll let em keep whatever they owe me not to go through the damn process
