ffx-2 may have been an AWFUL game, but the boss themes sure kicked ass. They sound sort of like techno, but less repetitive. The best has to be the otherworld theme for ffX. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hIY3678DaYI

I agree, Steiner really put ff9 down with his constant ramblings...Amarant needed to be rid of Aeris style though- he spoke in the worst possible, emotional moments.He butted in with that annoying cynical attitude and rambles about his past way too much.

I quite like the old versions too, though graphically speaking they are quite dull compared to pokemon ruby, leafgreen etc. Did anyone get a 'mew' (it is a random encounter apparently) in pokemon red/blue? The eevee evolutions are the mightiest- hands down.

I think it varies on a persons current mood. If you feel depressed and you look in the mirror you see a hideous goblin. If you look again an hour later you'd rate yourself a 6. I'm usually on the negative digits, like um -2 and -4...xD

Many respected musicians would agree that Nomura makes enchanting music. Modern classical...? I love the otherworld theme from ffx, freya's theme and of course---Vincent's theme- the nightmare begins. Heck, even the ff6 battle theme is :3
