Note: This is a work in progress, so it'll initially come off as incomplete. I feel there's enough info to at least get a thread started, and I will update this first post as more info comes out. If you have any input, feel free to let me know. ^_^ I hope to get this going much sooner than...
Bored. :|
The kid was with the babysitter all day, so I was home alone today while the wife was at work.
I couldn't get into one single game, either. -_- For sure thought that would subside the boredom.
I miss that game! Shame we'll likely never get a remaster of that. I love that quirky title.
Out of the four I have actually played...
1. The Second Story / Second Evolution
It was my first Star Ocean game, and still my favorite. Everything about it was just right for a JRPG, and of course...
Meowth is my elusive one at the moment! There's one in the area, but it's such a sneaky little SOB. :lew:
I don't think I've come across an Abra, though. Which is weird. I think it's one of the more common of them to catch. :|
I'm curious, for other players on here, have you caught any rare ones?
For example, Pikachu was a rare one for me. Caught it about an hour after downloading the game, and I haven't seen the critter since. Must've just been lucky, I guess. :lew: Now I just find a bunch of Rattatas around.
More information has been added for the time-based story. They are in bold in the first post.
For those of you who don't want to bother going to the first post:
Time based chapter
Emphasis on time travel.
Many of the new areas will involve the Wingly race.
Metal and Gravity are just two of the...
Bubbly, by Colbie Caillat
It starts in my toes, and I crinkle my nose
Where ever it goes I always know
That you make me smile, please, stay for a while now
Just take your time wherever you go
Time-based chapter
Technically a prequel, although it will delve into many of the world's eras.
Emphasis on time travel.
Characters will come from different eras of Endiness.
The villainous triumvirate of the story represent a forgotten and extinct race, which had existed eons prior.
Believed to...
Actually, I think there are some new characters. The only one I'm sure of is Ramza from FF Tactics, though.
Maybe there was a FFXIV one in there, too? I think it was a mage-like character.
I'm currently watching Suits, but before it, I watched the first season of Mr. Robot, and the Amazon-exclusive Bosch. Both are excellent shows, personally.
There are some other shows I want to catch on Amazon once I burn through Suits.
I can't find the article again, but I'd recently read the game will be released in three episodes/installments? I do remember reading some time ago that it would come in parts, but it wasn't said how many.
Can anyone confirm this? Because if so, that's interesting, because the original game was...
This is regarding the currently Japanese-only arcade game. It was developed by Team Ninja; I think SE might've had a hand in the development, too? I dunno.
Hopefully a PS4 version will be coming. I'm definitely all for this.
Here are some gameplay videos:
Greenback Boogie, by Ima Robot.
I've been binging Suits on Amazon Prime video, and it plays during the opening credits. :lew:
(And I know, the video is WTF.)
I wonder how much balancing will be done with the enemies' AI. In my opinion, it wasn't the greatest in the original game; same with the guests, to a smaller degree.
Yeah, found Magikarp on my way to the mailbox after work today. No water nearby. :lew:
On a side note, Pokemon GO is going to overtake Twitter as far as daily active users? :O I'm not sure if that's for both Android and iOS, but still. Do we think that's a good, bad, and/or expected thing?
Hmm, let's think.
- Opened my place of work all by myself, not quite two weeks into the job. (It's a big deal. There's a lot to it! :gasp:)
- Signed up for training, in order to obtain a license that'll definitely broaden my horizons at work.
- Got my daughter to "chat" with me for a good...
