I didn't see any recent thread for this topic, so I decided to make a new one. Limit Breaks/Overdrives/Quickenings/ATB moves/etc. They all look cool and really stylized. Which animation is your guys' favorite?
Mine would have to be Tifa's Meteodrive. She just picks up her opponent...
All the cool special effects used in attacks/limit breaks/summons/etc. really influenced my artistic style with photoshop. Square-Enix's ability to tell a memorable adventure also helped me with various works of fiction for my classes in middle and high school, too.
Since I'm currently replaying VII, I just feel more drawn to them more than the other versions. There's just so much you can do with them! As for least favorite, it'd have to be XI. They just look alien to me lol.
Avatar - 6/10 it just seems a bit plain, especially when it's the same image as the sig
Sig - 9/10 I'm not a big fan of excessive C4D, but the blending is superb since the girl looks like she's sort of interacting with it.
I voted for 8/10.

- Controlling one character allowed me to narrow my focus down to just the leader.
- Paradigm system was nice, especially when I can customize it. The AI does its job well.
- I like how spells can actually hit multiple enemies who stand together.
- Stagger is a neat...
^ same here. I was really tempted to just move on, but I ended up getting Omnislash anyhow lol. As for the Battle Square, it just irritates me sometimes. I hate how I try really hard to get all the worst handicaps (for higher BP) and then they put me up against Ghost Ships who fling me out of...
^ This. While XIII was highly linear, I just connected with the cast a lot quicker and more deeply than with the one in XII. The music was more memorable and the battle theme might even compete with VII's as my favorite. Sure, there wasn't any sole villain that stood out, but I still loved...
Has anyone tried to beat Sephiroth without using Omnislash? I've always used that limit break to end the mental battle, but on my current playthrough, I'm feeling a bit impatient with the Battle Square. If I don't need it, I think I'll just go ahead and fight him right now lol.
Kefka
Sorry for the bump, but here's something I made related to Kefka Palazzo.
It's actually a wallpaper, and the full size can be found here:

Black and White wallpaper found here...
While not really a replacement, I always thought it would be cool to have a crossover between the VI and VII universes. Everyone's always fighting over which is better, but what if Kefka and Sephiroth set madness aside (just roll with me on this one lol) and joined forces. One has mastery over...
Vanille's was the most annoying to obtain and took me the most tries, but I'd still go with Alexander. Bahamut is a beast in the field, but sometimes his attacks just don't connect...could just be me, though lol.
- Pokemon (stopped watching after I actually played the game and realized how much the cartoon sucked in comparison)
- Digimon (I still like this...very underrated)
- Yu-Gi-Oh! (got boring after season 1)
- Dragon Ball Z (a few episodes)
- Medabots (freakin' amazing)
- One Piece (only season 1)...
How do the controls feel compare to other 3rd person shooters like Gears of War and Uncharted? I've never been a big fan of the way Japan designed shooting games which is why I've been hesitant to play Dirge of Cerberus.
Hey, that's as realistic as you can get! lol jk, but he does seem like your typical modern day hero when you look at it like that. I'd say Garnet and Vivi interested me the most. While I do see really good points made by detractors, I still enjoy them the most in this game. The rest of the...
I'll probably end up buying it just so matchmaking can go quicker. I remember with Halo 3, we weren't allowed to play certain gametypes if we didn't buy a map pack. Don't wanna go through that again...
