I thought the documentary was brilliant. I definitely recommend it. I hadn't heard of the show until this thread but I'm curious to give it a shot. Though, with it being an MTV show, I can't say my hopes are too high. /snob
I can't think of anyone I've personally met online who has...
Bumped into a friend that I haven't seen for a few months and we had a nice long chat. Although it technically didn't cheer me up, as that would imply that I was miserable beforehand, it was nice.
I played a Rom of the NES version of the original Metal Gear. I used a walkthrough because I thought it was actually a pretty difficult game. Unlike the later installments in the series, the storytelling is kept to a bare minimum. So it is not quite as enjoyable. The villains aren't nearly as...
Your sig inspired me to buy 'In the court of the Crimson King'. Just thought I'd tell you about the profound influence you have had on my life. :monster:
It's not all that scary to be honest. It is rarely suspenseful and you can generally guess when a zombie will appear. The scenes with zombie attacks tend to put more focus on action than horror.
The gore sometimes bothers me though. It sometimes seems a bit unnecessary to show zombies getting...
I like this show. I liked the first season, though I thought it felt weird when they reached the laboratory. I actually really enjoyed the second season despite its slowness. The third season was pretty good too, though my overall interest in the show waned a little bit while watching it.
The...
I used to like them when I was about 13-14. I really liked Hybrid theory, Reanimation, collision course and Meteora. By the time they released Minutes to Midnight I was sick of them but I bought the album anyway because I already had all their previous albums and thus felt somewhat obliged to...
Stone Temple Pilots - Creep
I'm not that big a fan of grunge or this band. But this song really stands out for me. The verse and pre-chorus build into the chorus very nicely. I really like the vocals (particularly in the chorus) and I think the guitar riff in the chorus is really good too.
I like the vocals and lyrics on Yonkers and I like Tyler's voice, but I think the drums sound horrible; too flat. Also I think Yonkers was pre2012.
It's not my fault, I'm happy - Passion Pit
I've seen footage - Death Grips
World Blue - Ceremony
Lock your doors - Death Grips
I enjoyed it. But I didn't think it was particularly spectacular. I was entertained though which is the main thing. I haven't read the books and don't intend to. But I'll probably see the sequels.
It reminded me a fair bit of Battle Royale.
I really liked the first half or so of the remake. I thought the setting was pretty cool, the action scenes were good and I thought the subtle changes that were made to the original story were good too. But at a certain point it felt a little bit drawn out to me and I stopped paying attention...
