Hey Crescent. Quite funny that I agree with both of your answers.
The reason I got so addicted to FF9 were the characters and how they interacted. I swear this is the only FF game that actually made me laugh. There wasn't a single character I disliked!
I would have to probably nominate FF12...
Not technically true =/ The entire premise is based on a Japanese idea that when one dies, their spirit is sent to another planet/star. The movie spun that around cleverly and made Earth the planet that ANOTHER race's spirits ended up going. It was quite clever.
I guess I'm a bit disappointed...
I agree! :P I'm still sore that we didn't get the Chrono Trigger remake for PS1. I had to get while on holiday in the states. Still, I do like that the European versions of the Final Fantasy remakes are pure-FF. Looks nicer on the shelves :)
As for FF13. Don't worry, you guys in the US will get...
I just prefer using the stylus!!! :D
I know most people dont like it. But for me, it's relaxing to play the game like you would if it was a PC game with a mouse.
I also thought it was pretty cool that they introduced the characters one by one, instead of all at once.
I've only played up to...
1. Who did you use and what were there main purposes?
I used all of them :) Kind of. I constantly kept Vaan on, just so he could get tons of experience. Then I rotated the other 5 just to keep them even. So for example, as soon as, say, Basch hit level 25, I swapped him out and put in a level...
If I recall correctly, the scene where Tidus first arrives on Besaid and meets Wakka. After the cutscene and you're allowed to walk around on the beach, go and talk to the members of the Besaid Aurochs :) You'll see them talking about how Wakka and some other guy are able to hold their breath...
Sorry if this is a bit off-topic, but just to clarify, Tidus can't breathe underwater :) Blitzball players just train to hold their breath for inhuman amounts of time.
