I was glad that they didn't use the typical leveling system for X, I think it would've made it a bit /too/ familiar to the other FFs. If they did it too much, however, I think I would miss it. I actually liked 10's system better than 12's license board. The licenses were a bit too free, personally.
I think the most moving cutscene is Tidus and Yuna's kiss at Macalania spring. The build up to Yuna's sadness is just perfect, and there is so much unexpressed emotion between them when the cutscene starts. To me this wins even over the ending of FFX, because in the end, Yuna knows that Tidus...
I used KOTR, mime, and final attack junctioned to a mastered phoenix. And omnislash of course. I could almost put a weight on the "x" button, leave, and come back later with him defeated x.x'.
Yeah, I always liked the semi-transparent blue design of the Lionheart. Seems like a really upgraded version of Cloud's Ultima Weapon from VII. Before I got the materials to make it, though, I'd always stay partial to the Flame Saber.
Before you even start the fight, it's usually best to raise your stats really high by capturing certain fiends and obtaining stat spheres from the creations unlocked in the monster arena, then activate the spheres. I went into the battle with 40,000 HP.
I've defeated Sin without any stat padding...
