What is it with you and FF9?

This thread isn't about your opinion Archer, i highly doubt the OP cares that humans alone only made up a minority of IX's cast and races let alone would let it deter him from wanting to try the game.

Seems i've made a mistake, Fran who stands at 6'2 (not counting the ears) is the tallest female in the series still Freya is a close second, anyone else find it odd that two of the tallest women in the series are both furries? :elmo:

According to this image Freya's height is 187.9cm which in feet would be 6'1. I had no idea that Freya was this tall, shes even taller than Fang from FFXIII and she's 5'9 so wouldn't that make Fraya the tallest female playable character in the series?

Hashimoto's response to fans when asked about a FFVII remake makes it sounds as though their interested in revisiting older FF titles. Even though this probably doesn't make the chances of a IX or VII remake any higher, the fact that their going to "realize the old FF series" makes me hopeful...

Both Threatrhythm and Dissidia were games where characters from different Final Fantasy games interacted, however Dissidia was the actio-RPG while Threatrhythm was a rhythm game, would you like to see another side series where FF character crossover to run paralell with Threatrhythm and Dissidia?

Even though FFVII is one of my favorite games in the series i agree with you and what annoys me the most about FFVII's popularity is fact that it isn't just the fanboys or the media who overrates the game, it's Sqaure Enix themselves as well.

Seeing how the party managed to defeat Necron, yet were defeated in all their battles against Beatrix and Kuja. Could Necron by story standards be considered weak than Kuja and Beatrix?

Square Enix seemed to went a bit far off with the Final fantasy games now a days, and Bravely Default seems to be a good example why it SHOULD return to it's roots, good to see that their finally acknowledging that.
