100 most successful songs of all time

Haha it is quite funny to see quite a few one hit wonders, cover songs, and contemporary pop songs sneak in there, while there's no room Deep Purple or Led Zeppelin. I actually expected both Smoke on the Water and Stairway to Heaven to have made it into the list.

It's most successful, so I will assume it will be based on sales/weeks in the chart and things like that. Most of the list seems to be dominated by Beatles song.. from what I saw anyway.

Please heed her words.

It's not best song.

That list isn't bad but I'm just annoyed that I don't know the majority of them. Why? A lot of them are all so oldddddddddddd. :wacky: It either shows that people back in the day obsessed more than we do, or that all modern music goes out of the light too quickly.

Or both.

That...and the fact that the best songs of the modern era are replaced really quickly with other songs that are better. :monster:

Wow, I'm shocked actually after reading that. A lot of those songs are shit, and some I just don't understand how they are that popular.

I'm suprised that We Belong Together by Mariah Carey isn't on there, after it spending like a thousand weeks at number one a few years ago.
