Another rumor has surfaced, suggesting Final Fantasy X-2 will be joining its mainline brother upon release.

According to a 2ch rumor sourced by FF-Reunion, the lighthearted sequel will be included on the same blu-ray disc as Final Fantasy X HD for PlayStation 3. The PS Vita version will offer each title on a separate cartridge.

Each title is said to also include the expanded International version content and a release is schedule for some time in 2013. This information is supposedly from Jump magazine, and comes from a source who’s been proven reliable before.

Given last month’s little tease via Shinji Hashimoto, it seems our wait may be over soon enough.

With how little info there really is about FFX HD...and all the crazy rumors flying about Final Fantasy games in general... yeah I am not going hold my breath.
 
Good News, a jump scan confirms that FFX-2 will be bundled with FFX HD, FFX-2 will be sold as it own title on vita

Ah thanks stevie. I'm wondering now though, does this mean that we have to pay again for 10-2 on Vita? Or will each one be cheaper than the PS3 bundle altogether? :hmmm:

I'll post the details now

FFX and FFX-2 will be bundled together as one game on ps3, like KH HD 1.5 Remix, but the games will not be bundled together on vita, there will be 2 titles for vita, FFX HD and FFX-2 HD

Yeah but it didnt look completely different for ico.. look at ff dimensions, despite being a sixteen bit game, they priced it double of what chaos rings cost and they claim because its a new game. se is a hound nowadays. i personally think it will be forty five at least.
 
Well this gives me a reason to replay FFX-2, I planned on buying the HD re release anyways thats why ive been holding off on replaying FF10, that way I can be a trophy whore :wacky: This is great news though cant wait for this.

You ask a wonderful question. I would like to know as well cause I still have a 250 hours save file ...now where it that old memorycard? :hmmm:
 
I highly doubt that you well be able to transfer your old ps2 data to the ps3 file and for it to play.

Firstly this well run like a PS3 game, so it well look into the PS3 save area, (which can't hold ps2 saved games.)

Also just curious... did Square officially announce this or was this just some rumor from a magazine with no real truth to it? cause it seems like Square didn't officially say it...

No announcement from SE yet, but it is most definitely confirmed. The scan is from Jump magazine, which delivers accurate information most of the time.

However, we may want to wait for a real official announcement, just to be doubly safe.
 
Final Fantasy X & X-2 HD full scan surfaces

A full scan of Weekly Jump’s latest Final Fantasy X HD preview has come out.

This is the same magazine that confirmed yesterday’s news of the PlayStation 3 version shipping not only with X, but with X-2, as well. The full Japanese title looks to be Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster.

On PS Vita, as detailed yesterday, both games will ship separately.

The game is scheduled for a 2013 release in Japan. Prices have yet to be announced.

As awesome as this is, it still is just a rumor. I mean I'd like to have FFX first before I start hearing about other games. There is just rumors about all these games but no release dates. Just yea expect sometime this year. Its both exciting and annoying.

Um, no it isnt. There are screen shots and everything.

It is looking like they actually messed with the character models as well and changed stuff. Looks alot better overall too.
