[23/03] Square Enix teases mysterious title for summer release

Square Enix has opened up a tease site for an unknown project. A video for it on the website doesn’t give away too much info, although does show some concept art for it. Get the site here. It’s seemingly set to launch this summer, so guesses of a social game are likely.

I sure hope it's not a social game, though I've been hearing around that it could be Final Fantasy Tactics 2.

I'd be extremely happy with a Crystal Chronicles game. The original is the only version that I've really enjoyed, so I'm hoping it would be more like that one (but with online, of course). The locations in the original were very well done, and had some background through those, what I found to be, engrossing fairy tale-like openings. The music too was outstanding.

I don't understand where everyone's reading disappointment from just a sneak peak trailer. Cynical much?

I haven't played any of the CC games, and that's what I thought when I saw it. One of the characters really caught my eye, and I'll remain optimistic about this until proven otherwise.

I loved the CC game for GC so if it's one of those I'm sure it'll be fun! I like surprises I don't know why everyone is all "" about it.

The characters don't look entirely Final Fantasy-esque. The illustrations remind me more of Suikoden. I haven't seen a lot of the Crystal Chronicles series though.

I'm searching for clues in the artists! Yusuke Naora worked on Final Fantasy titles (VI, VII, VIII, X and Type-0) as well as Chrono Trigger, Vagrant Story, The Last Remnant, to name a few.

Misaki Hirooki did indeed work on Suikoden Tierkreis.

Not alot to go on at this point. I do like the artwork. It looks less FF though to me. If it's a new strategy RPG, it could be pretty cool
