4 white mages, low level.

Yup, that's what I'm doing. I tried to do it in under level 20, but ended up with a 22.

I'm at Chaos, and last for about 20 turns before death.

Anyone else done something similar?
 
I made all red mages but they are higher levels. It was kind of hard to keep them under a certain level.
 
I tried it once on Nes version.It was hard as hell.I was lvl 15 when i made to fire mountain.Without tons of luck its really hard,if not impossible, to do it under lvl20.
(Still it should be easay in GBA version,but i have never played it much).
 
*whoa havent tried that one cause having one white mage is boring and troublesome enough!? and you have four??? thats like suicide :D :D well maybe you should try making them fight chaos at level 30 or 40 just to be sure you win ;)

*maybe il try it when i get my computer fixed ;)
 
That doesn't sound very easy at all. Nor does it sound very fun. I can't imagine doing that. The early parts of the game would be really difficult.
 
That is crazy, granted when you are attacked by nothing but undead's then it will be easy with Dia, but the rest of the game will be impossible, until you get Holy of course, but i doubt you will get that far with 4 white mages.

LOL people have done it. And it takes A LOT of patience. In the early parts of the game you'll be missing half the time with physical attacks. And when you do hit it will be for 1 hp most of the time.
 
*yep i agree, if your planning to have 4 white mages youd better have patience, a lot of it! i havent tried it but i estimate you have to buy lots of potions to add up to your cure magic to survive most battles. and youd have to be lucky to have critical hits to atleast have a decent physical damage hit:)

*this would not be as much fun as a normal party cause your like tortured with 4 weak attackers :) well good luck to whoever wants to try it :)

I have beaten the game with 4 white mages, but their level was 99 when it finished.
 
*ahhh that would be possible if your at level 99, even if you used codes or cheats, well thats another way to go. but going through the game with no help at all is a nightmare!i suppose you can reach level 99 fairly but that would take a long time, i mean a really long time without cheats. and why would you do it any way? just for fun?for the challenge?well its all depends on the player ;)
 
I challenge everyone here to try it you will see that after they get past a certain point that it is overly easy to level up.
 
I just started a new game with four white mages ;p I'm looking forward to beating the game with them. It makes me laugh everytime the message on entering battles says "the enemy is surprised" lol
 
Well, I thought that I need a nice way to spend my free time during boring lessons in school. So I came up with the ultimate challenge. A party of one WHM in FF I. I will start it tonight and will inform you how I am doing over time :D I hope I am able to do it when I level to 50 as fast as possible and get best possible gear all the time ;) Well, we will see!

Well, I'm lvl 8 at the moment. It's important to get 99 heals and 25 pures as soon as possible. Also, it is very important to get +1 str each level up as it will make a lot of fights easier. So far, I am doing great :)
I bought myself cure, harm and fog at the beginning. Chose fog because white mage has naturally nice evasion because he can't wear armors which reduce evasion a lot. And in the same time I'm able to avoid many hits, I can still tank a lot of hits when I encouter someone with high accuary. Also bough all the equipment pieces I was able to. After that came the long and boring leveling until I got to 8. I bough 30 potions and 5 pures and went to kill Garland. And it wasn't a trouble at all. He hit me around 1 or 2 and I hurted him nicely. Now I'm heading towards next town!
 
i have tried that but i could only make it to the fire crystal, but i have done 4 theives it was semi hard
