::The moonlight spilled onto the streets, granting dim illumination to a dark alleyway. Piles of rotting garbage lay heaped next to numerous dumpsters. Resting face down atop one such pile is the naked, bloody form of Wullfe. With a start, Wullfe comes to consciousness. He tries to roll over, so he can accommodate his breathing, only to regret it, as his frame is instantly flooded by pain.::

Wullfe: (Fu@k!!! I shouldn't have tried to move...)

::Slowly, with a deep breath, Wullfe tried to maneuver his fingers. With each muscle he moved, he felt fresh waves of pain, rolling through his tattered frame.::

Wullfe: (I've gotta move... gotta get the hell outta here...)

::His mind made up, he slowly begins the long process of liberating himself from the trash. During the challenge, his mind begins to wander as to how he got himself into this predicament...::

Wullfe: (This all started about a week ago...)

::Wullfe is seen, in far better health than he is in now and dressed. His body is pulled tight, like a coil of steel, ready to spring. He leans slightly forward, angling himself closer to the ground. Clutched in his right hand is an old wooden sword. He's currently in a medium sized steel ring, standing ready to fight a man almost twice his size. Both gladiators are slaves, brought here to entertain the wild crazy and frenzied crowds.::

Wullfe: (This should be an easy enough match. This fool doesn't stand a chance...)

::As the announcer introduces the two participants, the crowd roars even louder, their savage lust for blood getting the better of them.::

Wullfe: (These idiots are even thirstier than usual... I wonder what it is.)

::Finally, the bookies have finished taking all bets, the vendors have all retired, and the once vocal crowd now sits in silence, as the announcer finally announces the start of the match.::

::Almost instantly, the bare handed giant rushes Wullfe, aiming to tackle the thin boy with one deft body blow. Wullfe, expecting this, reacts even quicker. Since he was already in a ready position, he easily leaps, as the giant comes closer, Wullfe uses him as a pedestal to propel himself even higher. The giant, though big was slower than the dexterous Wullfe. As such, Wullfe capitalized, by landing, and aiming a quick spin kick behind him, to where he believed the giant would be. Before he even looked, he felt his kick connect with solid muscle, and saw that he had in fact nailed the giant squarely on his back. The giant, carried by both, his own momentum, as well as the force of Wullfe's kick flew straight into the steel cage, which, after painfully marking his face, launched him right back at Wullfe. With ample time, Wullfe hit the floor, moving to his right. As he slid, he thrust his left leg out, so that the giant tripped over it, and fell face first into the dirt floor of the ring...::

::Wullfe shook his head of the thoughts, as he remembered where he was and what he was doing. By now, he had managed to sit up, and took a break to catch his breath. As he sat, resting, his mind slipped once more into the past...::

::The match had continued for the better half of an hour, With Wullfe having taken glancing blows, to make the fight appear more real, but overall dominating the spectacle. He looked to the woman who represented his master, and he saw that she nodded, indicating that it was time for him to finish the fight. With a sigh, Wullfe began to make preparations to put the poor sob out of his misery.::

Wullfe: (Since I've yet to lose, the master probably has a lot of money riding on me to win. I hope, with these winnings, the small percentage I get can be enough to buy my freedom.)

::The giant rose, fully aware that the outcome of this battle not favor him. Enraged, at the prospect of losing at all, especially to one so much smaller than him, he was overtaken with a burning rage. With a mad yell, he ran towards Wullfe, thrashing every which way as he went.::

Wullfe: (How sad, it seems his imminent demise has driven him to the path of insanity.)

::As the giant comes within striking distance, Wullfe attempts dodge the blow. However, just at the last moment, he felt his body wracked with mind numbing pain. The surprise of the pain left him temporarily stunned, and the giant took one massive swing, an uppercut to Wullfe's chin found home. Wullfe flew through the air, tossed much like a rag doll. As he landed, he felt his vision blur, and could taste the blood spat from his mouth.::

Wullfe: (I, I can't see!)

::Blinded by the pain, Wullfe had no chance to fight back. The giant, now finally with the upper hand continued to crush Wullfe... As the memories of the pain from the match left him, he was rudely reminded of the pain he felt now, as he stumbled away from the alleyway.::

Wullfe: (I assume, since the master lost nearly a small fortune on me, he had me beaten, to what he assumed was death and then left here, like so much refuse.)

::He has finally arrived at the end of the alleyway, and slowly brushes the hair, matted by blood and sweat, out of his dazed eyes. As he slowly returns to life, his mind begins to race, already moving on to his next objectives.::

Wullfe: (This isn't bad... I can take this negative, and turn it into a positive. I might be on deaths door, in dire need of a respirator, however, I'm free... I'm finally free!)

::A frown of grim determination crosses his lips, as he finds his way through the streets, on his way to restart his life as a free man...::

Kamui was still in the room, watching Vline and Savior fight... idiots he thought, anyway... he turned back to the girl... "seems you have become popular on my account... i apologise to you... for that reason i wish to purchase you, that is only if you accept and allow me to... for i do not intend to take you against your will, but please hurry and make your decision time is short, and he points to Vline and Savior still fighting, one with bullets the other with water..."

It is your desicion, please choose, if you would go with them, so be it, or come with me, your choice..."

note: please wait for Faith to reply before you do anything drastic Savior and Dygan

::A little while later, Wullfe is now fully clothed, in tattered rags he's managed to salvage from the streets. He kneels before a fountain, and with the water, begins to wash himself.::

Wullfe: (This will have to do... I can't risk getting into a fight in this state.)

::Finally refreshes, if just for a tad bit, Wullfe props himself onto the base of the fountain, and waits to heal.::

Wullfe: (Now I need a mark, someone I can pick of for the things I need...)

::Wullfe waits patiently, as the night drags on and people pass by...::

::Startled by the strangers dramatic entrance, Wullfe looked up at him. His keen eyes quickly scanning the mans person. Even though the two had just met, Wullfe already regarded him with distrust. Not that his face showed it. To any passerby who happened to be looking, it would appear that the two men were simply sharing the same fountain.::

Wullfe: (He doesn't seem like the proper mark... I need to get better.)

::At this moment, Wullfe felt just how serious his injuries were. For no reason, he felt his vision blur, and his body shake.::

Wullfe: (This isn't good... I need to get some medical aid...)

Kamui noticed the man at the base of the fountain... "yes he is similar to the girl... pity she did not reply... *sigh* i hope she doesn't get to impure, but then again regarding saviour and Vline that might not possible, he scaned the slave lying down by the fountain, *sigh* better do it then"

"laeh dna kaerb ,sdrahs eci" with that ice formed around the man, and broke, and fired into him, there wasn't any pain, only that his wounds began to heal, and so did what ever was ailing him...

"if you are wise you will come with me, but you may choose not to, i am giving you are choice i have only given to one other person, become my slave or not to become one"

::For a moment, Wullfe felt freezing cold. Then, just as suddenly as the cold had come, it left, leaving him healed. He exhaled, and saw his breath condensate in front of his face.::

Wullfe: (Chilling...)

::Upon hearing the mans voice, he turns to look at him. After hearing his offer, Wullfe shakes his head.::

Wullfe: "You're mistaken, I'm no slave..."

Wullfe: (I'm glad to be able to stand again. Now, where to?)

Very well... it is your choice... *sigh* two turn downs in one day... all well, not much i can do about that is there mother, here"

he throws him a necklace, it had no jewel, all it was a symbol, that was an X, and thats all... "Keep it, and do not sell it, i think you might need it one day..."

and with that the necklace disappeared, and appeared around his neck, yes it seems you will, the necklace glowed, black,

"Seems i better give this one to that girl, the necklace disappeared from his hand and appeared around the girls neck, and the girl knew that, it was from Kamui, and also somehow knew that she was to need it, it glowed white...

"So the wheels are turning mother..."

good bye Wulfe,

::Wullfe fingers the necklace on his neck.::

Wullfe: "A tad bit too gaudy for my tastes..."

Wullfe: "But whatever. I have more important things to tend to."

::Wullfe rises, feeling confident in his abilities, now that his health has returned.::

Wullfe: "Let's see if I can find my belongings..."

::Wulfe begins his slow trek to recover the shattered pieces of his life. As he strolls through the night time town, he wonders how he ever ended up in such a predicament. The cold night air blows through his hair, however, he doesn't feel it. He looks up to the starless sky, and reminisces.::

Wullfe: "It was starless that night too..."

::His mind races, thinking back to the day night that led to him being a slave in the first place. He was a mercenary, hired by a rebel faction, led by a leading advocate for the abolishment of slavery. The group he represented had asked him to help them to achieve their goals by using less orthodox means. Wullfe is seen, dressed in a black robe, sitting in the dark, talking to a man hidden in the shadows.::

Man: "We are of meager funds. We can not pay you as well as the government, however, you have to sympathize with our cause!"

Wullfe: (I couldn't care less about the slaves... but...)

::Wullfe jumps out of his daydream as a cyclist barely misses him.::

Wullfe: (There was something about the man... I dunno why, but I took up his mission, for less than what I usually charge...)

::Wullfe pauses by a telephone booth, he opens up the phone book inside and begins leafing through it, searching for his old contacts.::

Wullfe: (I remember, after trying to aid the cause of the abolitionists, I was caught on the field of battle, tried and sentenced to life as a slave...)

::Wullfe finds the contacts he was searching for, and slams the book shut. His usually stoic visage flushes with anger, for just a moment, as he recalls the tortures he had to endure as a slave.::

Wullfe: "No more... That life is beyond me now. And I will finish what I started..."

::With those words, Wullfe heads off into the night.::

Kamui leaves Wulfe, and then slowly makes his way back, it seems that i no longer need this place, and with that, his demon wing appeared, and he disappeared as it wraped around him, to his home, mansion, of dark and light energy, made of entirely ice, i have returned, he lay down on his bed thinking, the necklace power grows, and soon they will relise what power i have given them, but what will they do with that power, that mercenary i already know, but what of the girl... *sigh* i wish she was here by my side, then i know what is it she would do... maybe release the slaves, but what of her parents... of course... there has to be a way... that girl is part of this whether she likes it or not, but i will not force her against her will

OOC: Guys, slow down with the posting. We do have timezones and I'm ahead of you guys in the time because I was sleeping whilst you were posting. And also try to input more in your posts if you can. One liners are not allowed and it doesn't really add much to the story.

Ami's attendant had told her that she had been sold to a man named Savior. As she understood and acknowledged this, the attendant just laughed at the money he had received. "At least there was some good to keeping you here for the past few days," he muttered, and then he slapped her across the face. "Now enjoy your new master, whilst I go and see what I can spend with this lovely money of mine." And so, Ami saw him leave for the very last time.

She sighed. He can be a bastard sometimes, but I suppose that I'm out of his hands at last. However, she had another matter to attend to now. She looked up at her new master, Savior, who had asked her a question. Wiping the dust off her clothes and straightening herself up, she turned to face her new master. "My ... my name is Ami," she said loud enough, so that he could hear her. Great, here we go again. I feel like I'm going to flip any minute now.

yes that is true, Dygan, so we agree no one liners k?

Kamui woked suddenly, he thought for a moment, and chanted,

ees ot tnaw i tahw em wohs dna ezeerf, a ice panel formed infront of him, and showed the cell, where saviour and the girl was, she is ami, apparantly that is befitting, i wounder what she will do, and i wonder if she noticed the gift that i gave her,
