And I so agree about Cloud hugging her so much. He would turn into sucha cuddle bear around her, especially after she had been gone for so long. I can imagine that the first time Cloud saw her fully in the flower field at the end of AC Cloud was so overwhelmed by it that all he could do was pull her into a long and beautiful hug before he would kiss her. A hug would just show how much he missed her. T_T

I love those! The first one is so true, you can totally see it happening in the game.

And the second one is :cali: I love the colors in Aerith's hair, and it's just so cute ^__^

Ahhhhhh hugs ♥ Cloud gets very attached to people, and he was so attached to Aerith, you know he would literally attach himself and never wanna let go. :lew:

Oh my gawsh Channy, that first one, I have never seen it and I absolutely love it, Aerith and Cloud look so cute together and the picture setting give off a Tuscan vibe which I love :ari:

By the way I found a game Article for top 7 saddest video games will make you cry in Game History and of course Aerith was on there, she was in sixth place but its what the Article said for her and Cloud that is so great :lew:

That second Lazaro gown is just SO Aerith! It's very delicate, ethereal, and simple. :ryan: Like, Starfish said, I can see her avoiding the over the top ball gowns. She would totallllly go for something delicate and timeless.

Oh yeah, is it just me or has anyone else been noticing that more of these game sites have been saying pro-Clerith stuff more since that TLS article....? :huh: I know no journalist for games would waste time on fan sites but I just think it's strange. :lew: First IGN and now this place. Not sure if this was discussed before here but on my DoC game manual, it's all Japanese. Here's the translation for Aerith:
"Aerith Gainsborough- A young woman with the blood of the Ancients flowing through her veins, who is engraved in Cloud's heart for the rest of his life."

Even in DoC, they just had to touch on their relationship :facepaw: So beautiful :gonk:

Omgosh, yus! I love that DoC quote. It is SO friggin' romantic. I mean... WHY did SE feel the need to single out that Aerith is engraved in Cloud's heart for eternity? To me, THIS just SCREAMS romantic implications. If it was suppose to be platonic I think they would have said Aerith is engraved in ALL of their hearts, but no--instead that specify that it's Cloud's heart that she is engraved in. :ryan:

If you ask me, this quote PLUS the quote of Nomura saying Cloud has an undying feeling for Aerith that is different from the platonic love/feelings of their friends... just PROVES Cloud loves Aerith. :cali:

Omgosh, I SO agree! Hmm, okay! I think Aerith would wear a LOT of sundresses as well. I can see her wearing a lot of different styles, but mainly maxi dresses or cute sundresses. :ryan:

This might be a bit off topic but I just wanted to ask... does anyone notice how there's... I guess they'd be called "tropes" or parallels that disney's love stories have that Cloud and Aerith also have? Like, I can't help but ":tori:" when I see a disney couple have a moment where their hands are touching and its emphasized on (like the Clerith hand reach scenes) :ari: I've noticed that a lot lately and wanted to know what others thought. :hmmm:

Like in Cloud and Aerith's hand reach scene in AC :ari: You can see things like that a LOT. And is it just me...or is Cloud a lot like Hercules from the disney movie :hmmm: Hercules and Cloud both as young teens are left alone by the other people in his town, and Hercules want to be a hero, and later he learns what a true hero is, and falls in love with Megara. Just like Cloud :3 And Megara looks like Aerith am I right?

But other than that I haven't seen any disney movies lately, I'll have to watch out for shtuff like that :hmmm:

And all those cute comics of Cloud and Aerith make me wish I knew Japanese :sad3: There are so many :gonk:

I never thought of that before. You're completely right! Hercules was picked on, had the whole town hate him, went off to become this hero--struggled, met a brown haired girl in a pink dress :-)britt:), girl dies, guy faces HELL just to try and get her... the only difference here is that Cloud never got Aerith back, at least not physically :sad:

Maybe it's not just a coincidence that SE put Cloud's storyline in a level that revolved around the Hercules story D: I'm thinking they knew the parallels and did it on purpose. :ahmed:
