I know most were storyline, but which ones did u get?Valefor, Ifrit, Siva, Ixion, Bahamut, Yojimbo, Anima, Magus Sisters
 
First playthrough I didnt get the optional ones, just ran through, although I MAY have got Yojimbo, I know I didnt get Anima becasue I didnt get the destruction spheres....2nd playthrough I got them all, playing through again, and forgot teh Besaid destruction sphere AGAIN, so I had to reload my gaem and go back for it, it's alwasy that one that catches me out ¬.¬
 
i got all of them on like my third time playing the game...although the first two times when i did play the game i didnt get to finish it because something always happened
 
1st playthrough, I missed all the optional ones because, like Kelly, I just ran through it. I was gutted when I couldn't get Anima. xD

On my second playthrough though, I did everything perfectly. I got all the destructions spheres, carefully checking to make sure, and I did all the sidequests to get all the aeons. The amount of stuff I had to sell to pay for Yojimbo xD

Yeah, but you can go back to the Cloister of Trials once you have the Airship. I think the only temple you can't go back to is Bevelle, and you have to use the destruction sphere, so that will never miss.

Every time I've played through this game, I've acquired all the aeons. I'm too much of a completionist to just settle for the storyline ones, but that's just me. I'll also say that I never, ever use Yojimbo, he's supposed to be helping me and taking my money never, ever helps me.
 
But I ran into Dark Valefor, rather unexpectedly I might add, and my arse was promptly handed to me, I was too impatient to train, I wanted Anima as soon as she because available to get, but the thought of all the training I'd have to do put me off -_-

I just gave up and started again, accidentally deleting my stupid save file anyway :gasp:

I didn't worry about the others through first playthrough. I was interested only slightly in Yojimbo, that was before I found her charges you out the hole just for his services. Pssh, no wonder people stole his fayth and left him there XD Summoners would have gone broke just trying to summon him.

Anyways through second playthrough which I am working on now after like a long, long time break from the game, so far I've gotten Yojimbo, put a hole in my gil though, and Anima. I'm working on getting the Magus Sisters. I did however forget a few destruction spheres when getting Anima, but was no thing I just checked to see what I didn't have and went back to get it =P
 
I've gotten Shiva, Ifrit, Ixion, Valefor, and I got the Bevelle destruction sphere (Vikki anally reminded me about it -__-) for Anima. I don't intend on getting yojimbo though, not in this playthrough anyway. Too much monies :ness:
 
For some reason I didn't have any problems getting Anima on my first playthrough. I've totally forgotten who you get him now but I didn't miss an aeon, which is weird cos in previous games I have!

Yojimbo was probably the hardest cos I remember it being a faff and him being a bit of a twat me being underleveled(or underspheregrided if you prefer).
 
Got the money- Aeon and the Magus Sisters first time round but missed out on Anima because didn't know about the Destruction spheres or the Dark Aeons. In fact to be truthful didn't really know that you could have Anima as a Aeon ^__^''


However second time round forgot how to get the Magus Sisters and still don't have them and kind or timed the introduction of the Dark Aeons thing wrong. So again missed out on Anima.

3rd time round wanted to do a FF X Challenge and one of them was defeating Braska's Final Aeon in a certain amount of time without using any of the secret Aeons so had to miss out of them on purpose.

But 4th time shall be lucky for Anima ! [ hopefully ]

1st playthrough, i got all of them except Anima. I missed the destruction spere at Bevelle. So on meh 2nd playthrough i got all of them, even though i hardly use them any.
 
I got all of them. Sad to say this, but I wouldn´t stand a chance against
Overdrive Sin without Anima and the Magus Sisters.

I didn´t care much to use Yojimbo, but I got him. :P

Only time i ever used Yojimbo was when i cheated to get infinite gil. And even then , his attacks weren't all that powerful
 
I got all of them on the first playthrough, I cheated here and there with Yojimbo's Zanmato, because I missed the destruction sphere puzzle at Besaid. AT first I used Yojimbo to get Yuna lots of AP. Anima I mostly used for the monster arena and I avoided using the Magus sisters.
 
I got all of the main storylines' Aeons and the Yojimbo guy. I like Bahamut he's my favorite summon of all the games. he's kickanus.
 
On my first ever play through i picked up the storyline guys, without any stress, [as you tend not to get stressed with the storyline guys] and i also managed to get Yojimbo via the paycheck, but i never used him because you had to pay him everytime.

and after my first playthrough one of my friends let me borrow his copy of the walkthrough and so i knew about the destruction spheres and also the Magus sister's temple so i collected them all
 
I got them all. I've only played through it once,but I had to get them all then. I have to complete everything in games so I had to get every last one of them, even Yojimbo even though I hated saving up the money for him. ^^;

I know on my second play through I'll be doing the same thing!
 
Firstly, everyone saying they got Magus Sisters but not Anima is lying.
You cannot get the Magus Sisters without first getting Anima.

Secondly, anyone who says they can't get Anima because they missed Bevelle is, not so much lying, but more likely mistaken. You can't miss the Bevelle destruction sphere. It's more likely that you missed the Zanarkand one - and fair enough, as you can't get it the first time through, you have to go back later.

Anyway, I got only the normal five on my first play, but got all of them except Yojimbo the second time through. Nowdays I always make sure to get the Besaid and Macalania spheres, even if I don't need the treasures, /even/ if I'm doing a No Summoning challenge, just in case I need Anima and the Magus Sisters at some point.
 
I got them all because I used a Players' Guide. I know, but I was young and I was a shameless addict to guides! *sob*

Misplaced displays of emotion aside, yeah, I got them all because the guide told me all about the Destruction Spheres. It's true, though, you can backtrack to any temple except Bevelle...I can imagine my own frustration at that if I had missed that one.
