Aeons

It's true, though, you can backtrack to any temple except Bevelle...I can imagine my own frustration at that if I had missed that one.
Except for the fact that you can't. You have to use the Destruction Sphere to get to the chamber of the fayth, and the treasure chest is standing right in your way (the HP Sphere).
The other treasure chest off to the side is /not/ the destruction sphere treasure (missing it doesn't make you lose anything apart from what's inside it), and just contains a pretty useless (but high-selling) weapon for Kimahri.
 
Wow, i haven't played FFX in a while so i didn't know that you CAN'T miss the Bevelle destruction spehere. Lol Killian is FFX like your strong point?

I wouldn't say I'm the best player out there, but I'm certianly among them. (Yeah, fuck modesty. :P)
 
All of them. Still on my first playthrough :v Just playing around in the Arena now, taking notes on what monsters drop which items and getting stats for my characters up as high as possible.

Had to pay lots of gil to get Yojimbo for the option I chose for that question he asks and almost lost the chance to get the destruction sphere D: but I followed the maze logically and made it through with it. Also for Yojimbo, I got his str stat up high enough that I need to pay him only 1 gil to get 99,999 damage.
 
First play I got all of them, except Anima and Magnus Sisters. I just cba'd killing all dark aeons for all the tresures in the trails. :P

But then my other play through I got'em all, my favorite out of all of them would have been Yojimbo. >_>
 
i think i only got the aeons you get from the story... i think bahamut was the last one i got?

You don't need to kill all of them. You only need to beat Valefor (who's piss easy) if you missed Besaid, and Shiva (who is, unfortunately, pretty hard) if you missed Macalania. Nothing is in the way for Kilika, Djose and Zanarkand.
