Aerith's Great Gospel

Aeris's Great Gospel

I was wondering, what level does Aeris have to be in order to be able to equip her with GG? I just got it today and i'm totally clueless about what to do with it. I really want to use GG before the end of disc one so someone answer me back soon.

:)Thanks.

I don't think Great Gospel did hit a monster I thought it was some kinda healing limit break when I used it o_O and when I battled Demon Wall on level 21 he kept throwing that rock over my head :sad2: however next time I killed him when I was level 49 when I had Meteorian and Finishing touch >_<

I don't think theres any use trying to learn the move since she dies when that move would of been so useful during the final fight. *shrugs* Well thats my opinion on the matter.

i tried to get great gospel but for some reason i couldn't find the old man until she actually died and after the playing the first time i never bothered with it since Aeris is going to die anyways

I think it would've been MORE interesting with the last two-thirds of the game, because Great Gospel is flawed AND flawless at the same time.

Yeah, Aerith would be weak and vulnerable before she launches GG, but it has an invincible effect against huge-damaging attacks.

I got the Great Gospel and I always have. It's very useful. And I think that if she would have lived long enough to actually fight against the WEAPON enemies then I'm sure that she could have won, after all that is a very powerful limit break.
After all, there's more than just physical damage which I'm sure I would have gotten her to make a good number, her magic is also very useful after all, I think she's the one that has the most magic power.
I think the Ultima spell in her hands could have done a pretty number of damage on anything.

Let's get one thing straight.

It doesn't use whirlsand when it's hands are in the ground. Therefore, you can revive the characters, and beat Ruby with all 3 characters.

You only need to have all her previous limits, not a specific level.

I only had Great Gospel when I played through using an Action Replay disc. I put the codes on the have Sephiroth in your party, and to keep Aeris throughout the whole game.

God that was years ago lol.

I really want to play through FFVII again, but my first disc has gone missing. <_<

On my first play through, I had no idea about this stuff (no internet or strategy guide) So I had no idea how about it...

On my second playthrough quite recently, I had the internet, and found out about Great Gospel...but I didn't see the point in getting it due to what was gonna happen. So I didn't put myself out to get it. I might try and get in one time though...

If one thinks about it there's almost no way for one to know about these things in the first time we play through xD
We always find out about it after we beat the game in the first time and then look to guides or w/e xD
So most likely unless you took the game and explored every corner of it you wouldn't have fund out about the limit break in the first play through.

I loved the Great Gospel limit. It was like a Hero in FFVIII, I suppose, or Invincible Moon with Rinoa and Angelo. Only much easier to get than the stupid Heroes and much easier to activate than Angelo's Invincible Moon.

Definitely could've been veeery useful later on in the game, but alas, icky Square killed her off and didn't even say goodbye. D:< Whoever voted for her to die deserves a hot iron to the balls XD I want a recount! D:<
