Greetings and salutations, my name is Stanley, and I'm from Malaysia. I'm very glad to part of a great awesome community of my favourite fiction franchise in the world. I don't know how to write thread, so Imma just let the words flow. I dabble at songwriting, but I'm still not good at guitar and singing, but like wisemen would say, if you wait till you're ready, then you'll never be ready. So, I took the plunge and just been trying to improve Songwriting, guitar and singing ever since. Besides Songwriting, one other creative avenue hobby of mine is game design and development. I have not finished making a game , but I will do my best to do it. I know I'm trying to bite more than I could chew, but oh well. Right now I've been writing worldbuilding and scenario writing for my 2D RPG series that I'm working on. It prolly will consist of 21 trilogies which spans into 63 Arcs. The first game of the series will take elements from my favourite FF games and animes and other anime fictions, and combine them into one huge setting. The games are FF2, FF8, FF9, and FFTactics.
Favourite musician...Tsuyoshi Sekito of FF2, Nobuo Uematsu FFs, Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Simple Plan, Guns and Roses, Metallica, Sum 41,...anime songs, Chinese songs..etc
Feel free to talk chat me up about anything. I don't mind talking about religion and philosophy, but if it's against the rulers then nvm.

We have a few members that drop in from time to time that fluctuate in activity, so I hope they'll see this thread and feel inclined to comment! The person who first comes to mind is Duhemsounds who is great at doing covers of Final Fantasy (and other!) games and does an amazing job!

There is a few guitar players among the members as well!

Most of this applies to our Spira section so long as it doesn't break our Advertisement rules (basically, don't drop links outside of FFF to your content, you're going to want to put as much content in the body of your thread as possible as opposed to linking to your Fanfiction.net account as a raw example). Each subsection has it's own set of rules usually pinned at the top so you can browse the sections where rules apply - most of them follow basic site etiquette though!

Specifically, for all fanfic and literary works, they can be posted in the Spira subforum in Cosmo Canyon under Art & Writer's Cafe. This section also has rules that can be viewed here.

Very interesting! I think there's only a few of us who played the early games as their first introduction! Personally I didn't like FFI and wonder if I'd ever play a FF game again if I had played FFI as my first game

Your hobbies and your passion for them should make you at home here. Plenty of musical folk here, and we all share the connection in loving or having a nostalgic history with Final Fantasy.

A bit obscure here, but did you know that Gerard Way (vocalist of My Chemical Romance) produced a Final Fantasy track with Kyosuke Himuro? When Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete was produced, Kyosuke Himuro (who did the motorbike song that played during the credits of the original release of the film) wanted to do a new song and Square Enix included a popular western artist for it to increase its global appeal. Yet, when Advent Children Complete was released in the west I don't know if they ever included it after all of that! I think the track only made it to the Japanese release, so it isn't widely known.

Anyway, here is the music video for you since you say you like My Chemical Romance:

The band itself isn't really the sort of thing I listen to, but I can appreciate this track for its Final Fantasyness, and Gerard Way more generally for his wider contributions to our world (he co-created The Umbrella Academy, after all).

I don't mind talking about religion and philosophy, but if it's against the rulers then nvm.

As long as people are respectful of other opinions and things don't get heated, discussions like this are allowed.
Philosophy would be safer if you are nervous about offending people, but we've had religious discussions here too. It has been a while, but if you have thoughts you'd like to share, feel free to do so!

So long as your vids are shared in a way that isn't just advertising for an offsite channel and that you do other things on this site beyond self-promotion, it should be okay. For example, don't just dump links and run. Write posts alongside the videos and write your thoughts about things / a bit of background to encourage discussion.
