So there are some extremely annoying anime characters out there. Which do you think are the most annoying?

Miaka (Fushigi Yuigi)- Probably the most annoying character I have ever come across. She seriously needed to be locked in a closet because all she ever did was cause trouble for everyone else. Here is her basic plot.
1. There is some kind of trouble that is coming 2. Miaka doesn't want to endanger everyone else so she goes off to try to handle it on her own. 3. Miaka gets herself in trouble an almost raped and cries for Tamahome to come save her. 4. Tamahome comes and Miaka says that she doesn't love him. 5. rinse/repeat.

and it is incredibly anoying how every other character hates her and thinks that she is the most amazing thing. There was an episode where she gets her arm broken because she decided to challenge a bad guy on her own. Another character pretty much gets his entire body burned. After the battle one character can heal anyone but he can only do it once a day. who gets healed? yep Miaka even though her injury was much less serious than her guardian's.


Naru (Love Hina)- Omg this girl belongs in a psych ward. Keitaru accidently walks in on her in the shower and she has to beat him up for it. Even when it's her fault Keitaru is still to blame! She whines that Keitaru is immature but really, she is far more immature than him.

Yunna (Mabuharu)- Another complete psycho. Everytime Kazuki talks to another girl she runs up and screams how he is cheating on her even though they were never dating to begin with! It's even more annoying because she is supposed to be the main love interest. And even more annoying when she announces that she is Kazuki's wife when the two were never a couple to begin with. If Kazuki ends up with her, he'll have one hellish life.
 
Naruto - Naruto.


He's the main reason I absolutely REFUSE to watch this anime or read the manga. Just the look of him sets me on edge. I hate his attitude and I hate him. I hate his fanboys too.

Orihime - Bleach

Just... ugh. Mary Sue to the extreme. She's a complete ditz and the fact she's so plainly in love with Ichigo pisses me off. He's obviously not into you that way. Just back off woman. Orihime gets kidnapped. Ichigo rescues her. 'Hime fangirls over Ichigo. That's all she really does. Though I guess she's got a decent power.

Her fanboys are worse that Narutos. I swear, they must all get nosebleeds everytime she comes onto the screen.


Brings me to my next one.


Ichigo - Bleach
.... What the frak? I mean, seriously. Ok, he's the main character, so he's meant to be powerful. BUT HOW MANY TIMES CAN ONE GUY REACH THE VERY BRINK OF DEATH? JESUS. No matter what happens, Ichi always manages to turn Super Saiyan and kill his opponent. Plus he's blonde... and irritating... and really needs to get laid or something.




Can't think of any others off the top of my head. :hmm:

LOL :) Actually I think the entire show is annoying--I saw the first five episodes and they were good, but ever since then whenever I've tried to watch it it's nothing but 20 minutes of posturing and one minute of action -__-

As far as individual characters, I'd have to say Inuyasha and Kagome. It's okay to have characters develop a relationship slowly, but for THAT long, on top of all the cutesy-ness...:banghead: Just #@!% already, guys.

If so, I'm going to go with Yuya from SDK. I love the manga but she irritates me to no end. In the beginning, you think she might be a somewhat interesting character but then she's just reduced to a cheerleader basically. During just about every battle, she stands on the sidelines saying "I believe in Kyo. He can win!" Shut the fuck up. Seriously. :ffs:

Just about every character who isn't Sesshomaru, Sango or Miroku in Inuyasha. I don't really care for the show and I think most of it is the characters. I just don't find any of them likable besides the aforementioned three.

Jun from Yoroiden Samurai Troopers. He's your typical annoying child that latches onto the main characters and proceeds to whine incessantly throughout the show about how tough he is; of course, he proves his toughness by having to constantly be rescued. Ryo slapping him was possibly the greatest moment in anime history. Okay, I may be exaggerating there but the little twat deserved it. :mokken:
 
how about....any bubbly on-crack moe-blob throwaway-character-archetypes from present-day anime? i'm looking at you, k-on. i like my anime girls to have some small bit of depth. but who am i kidding, most anime is geared towards middle-high school aged pubescent boys overflowing with hormones. or pubescent girls. eeeeyarrgh

ah - i feel old, nostalgic, and bitter. so this is what it's like to be jaded.
 
Sakura Haruno - Naruto

Four words describe why I hate this girl -- Big. Fat. Cry. Baby. Has she ever gone through soemthing without crying or whining? And she hits Naruto for liking her? What the hell is that? And then we have her FAIL of an attempt to kill Sasuke....Oh Man...and then what she gets saved! Fail.
 
The one that springs to mind is Naruto!!! I freaking hate him and the damn show. Just a bunch of overrated crap. Naruto himself pisses me off because of his whinny voices in both English and Japanese. The whole "BELIEVE IT!" thing pissed me off no end and he is just annoying. Nothing loveable about him at all.
 
Another one: Aizen Sousuke, its like every corner I turn some fan is calling him "God" or just flat out worshipping him, I mean can he do anything without mind raping the other person to do it? If he didn't have KS he would be nothing -- It says a lot when you're only ability is running or producing a Meat Shield :ffs:

I mean seriously that last Chapter, trying to play mind games on a man as old as time XD I swear it was like a verbal tremble XD
 
Ash-pokemon

hes dumb and gay,i cant stand him at all,he never evolves that pikachu despite that he loves it,hes a joke in the series,he never grows(this is also for brock and region travel girl) and thats his biggest weakness,i thought pokemon was getting near the T rating.

I second that although I loved Pokemon when I was younger, I think its time to replace Ashe I mean they do it to who ever the girl may be and Brock not growing up is weird because he still hits on teenagers (However old he may be???) XD

There was misty,may,and dawn,the 3 never seen to grow(though dawn is new,i doubt she will grow lol),at least i think the age in pokemon means personality change or maturity,in one of the sinnoh episodes,may dresses in different style,more sexy style then she was in hoenn,so she might have not grown in age but she got into dressing hot.this is my opinion by the way.Ash got way more mature but hes still retarded,hes always an arrogant piece of shit.I dont hate brock,hes the best in the 3,and im the only person who believes that he grows taller by an inch once in an lifetime lol

the only guys i dont hate in pokemon is brock and james(i missed his old dub voice!!! it was the best!!!!)
 
Sakura from Naruto... I just DO NOT like her. Never have. Never will. She's always bothered me with all of her whining! I mean, c'mon! How can someone cry that much! It's insane.

And I don't want to bash her or anything, but she's is U-G-L-Y as hell. And no, I don't like Hinata either. I just don't hate her as much as I hate Sakura, is all.
 
bobobo - i cant stand bobobo he has the most disguesting powers of all time!its his NOSE HARE! nobody whants to see a guy who looks gay and who looks like he was a bit to late to catch the 80's fling his nose hare around! yet he seems to be populer enough to be in jump allstars!? :wtf:
i detest this charecter with every fiber of my body... >.<

INUYASHA -- Kagome

I don't know, but my hate for the girl was steadily growing with each passing season (or episode, depends). She was okay at first, but I noticed how...jealous she is. Fine, she loves Inuyasha, and fine that he has feelings for her too. But, he also still loves his old flame, Kikyou. Kagome can't seem to stand that, and uses the sit command on him every single time it looks like he screwed up (even though he usually doesn't). She could let the guy move on at his own pace, not beat him senseless. It's not just about jealousy either, because from what I could tell, the girl has anger issues.
 
Basically any anime character that says another person's name for the entire episode. Such as Inuyasha for Example. *Kagome gets attacked by a monster* Inuyasha! Kagome! Inuyasha! Kagome! Inuyasha! Kagome! *monster finally dies.* Kagome... Inuyasha...

Another good example would be Fuushigi yugi, with Miaka and Tamahomo(tamahome). They pretty much did the same exact thing. I have no clue why people of anime do that, no one does that shit IRL. When you're explaining something, no one is going to say your name after every sentence.

Guy: And that's when...I lost my parents and had no where to go...
Girl: Guy...
Guy: I was treated like a dog, having to steal food just to survive, sometimes picking up dog shit in a back alley.
Girl: Guy...


So annoying...

Well, there ya go. The answer to everything. Basically, it's just not realistic, and it makes the character look more pathetic than epic. Everything about it screams cheesy....not a good thing. This is why I hate stereotypical 'happy' heroines: they're pretty idiotic & clueless, really (not all of them, but I'm just sayin').
 
Let me preface this by saying I do not hate Haruno Sakura. I hate the way she's written. I know she was more or less useless at the start, and that's part of why I enjoyed the early parts of Part 2 so damn much. She was more involved and actually fought effectively. It was great. Now, she's not only faded into the background, but after half a dozen chapters of intending to kill Sasuke, she can't even scratch him with a knife. COME ON KISHI; GIVE US BACK THE PINK-HAIRED BADASS WHO KICKED SASORI'S ASS.


Sosuke Aizen (Bleach)
The thing is, back when he first betrayed the Soul Society, I thought he was one of the greatest villains in anime. It wasn't the fact that he'd turned traitor; it was how he did it, how he blamed everyone else for simply being shortsighted, how he treated everything about it like a walk in the park. He was an asshole and he knew it. It didn't stop him from smirking. He was a jerk and I loved it.

Now though? He's been made up to be so powerful that he's lost all appeal. Pulling some sort of flashy move to avoid/block an attack or actually fighting is good. This business of "I am simply that damn strong" is stupid and honestly, I don't care who kills him anymore. Fuck it, Konohamaru from Naruto could make a crossover appearance and kill Aizen and I'd be happy.


The three kids (Eureka Seven)
I can't even remember their names. They have a much smaller part in the manga which is good, but the minute they appeared in the anime I hated them. Rawr.


The writers behind My Otome's plot setting (My Otome)
Come on, My HiME was half decent. The setting was typical, but the plot was fun and the action was good. Also; YURI GOGGLES. Otome just...when you switch settings to a school that encourages girls to be maids and give them superpowers whose weakness is ingested semen...the series loses something.

Near (Death Note)
First off; L was the great adversary of Kira in this series, and when he lost, there was a sense of finality about the whole thing. Then we got his replacements. Mello at least had a unique personality to him, but Near just felt like L without the quirkiness that made him such a fun character.
 
Nearly all the characters from Shugo Chara :rage: Hoshina Utau in particular.

She's in love with her brother. Enough said.

I thought Ikuto was cool at first, but when it was too obvious about his feeling for Amu, I just waved my hand and said "The hell with him." SHE'S FRICKIN' 12 MAN!

Okay, away from Shugo Chara, I have a genuine dislike for Fuwa Show from Skip Beat. Don't get me wrong, the story wouldn't be that good without him. It's just that he was such a bastard. He treated Kiyoko like a maid, called her ugly and dumped her. The guy even hit her (in the manga, further in the story. OOOPS, I hope this ain't a spoiler to anyone who likes Skip Beat :gasp:) - that's unforgivable! OMG what a walnut :ffs:
