Any one heard of rites of spring

Yeah what the title says. I started this thread because no one seems to know who they are. They were on a record label caled discord in the year 90s. Fugazi were also signed to this record label. I think they were big in america but didn't really make it in england ore something like that. So yeah any one else heard of them.

Yeah I heared of 'em. Fairly big in America from what I can tell but here in England not so much. If im not mistaken they are one of the original 'proper' emo bands. In which case they need to burn in hell.

wtf...... they are hardcore punk and yes one of the first bands to start off early emo like fugazi. But moonchild and everyone else who has just dissed this whole emo fad, listen to them first... they sound nothing like emo of today.... grow up people.

Bumpin a kinda old topic, but I used to listen to them. Now if I listen to emo it's mainly screamo like Saetia or Raein. But I hate to even use that label since it has such a negative connotation with all these horrible bands out today mislabeled that genre.
