I heard that too, apparently it has like nearly every summon ever made in it.

It also has summons go through like 3 stages - like Shiva -

theres :

Baby Shiva
Shiva
Super shiva.

or something like that.
 
Honestly the game looks like a bad rip off of a tactics title. I doubt it will play well at all on a handheld system and considering how little character background was put into the console game, I expect even less from this portable title.

So, you can evolve your summons?
That sounds pretty neat, it really forces you to use your summons to make them better. I'm definatly getting this game now.
 
Eventually... I don’t know if I’ll buy it, but definitely borrow it just to say I’ve played it. Anyway, from the looks of it centering on Vaan and Penelo, I may not play it at all.<o:p></o:p>
 
It looks alright from what I read and the screen shots. I'll see what the reviews say. I think I will buy it. I enjoy having a DS travel game. ^_^

That's the summon chart from FFWorld. It does seem to have some sort of tier system for the summons but I haven't read enough to know exactly how it works out. There are a good number of summons but a few of the VIII ones seem to have been left out: Doomtrain, Eden, Brothers and Pandemona. And for whatever reason there doesn't seem to be any sign of Alexander.

The mothership has got me a DS for xmas so you know im gunna buy it when i can!! I already bought FFIII but i cant play it til xmas day

I completely agree with this. Ever since I first saw the trailer I knew I wouldn't get this game. For starters, I know the game is for the Nintendo DS, but they made the characters look horrible. And just overall it looks like a bad game to me, but never the less I am going to buy it. Why? Because I cannot make my full judgement on the game until I play it and complete it, that's why. So yes, infact I am buying the game.
 
I'm certainly going to buy this game. It may be the time to also reply my D.S with a D.S. Lite. I didn't want to but the backlight on my D.S. has almost gone.
 
I honestly think this game looks really cute. Luckily enough, I get all of my games at gamestop, so even if I buy them new and hate them, I can bring them back and switch it out for something else within a week. ^.^
 
I all ready bought this game like a week ago, and I would have to say that I'm not disappointed. Though, there are its ups and downs, it was worth the $40.

Of course, if you're not a fan of RTS then this isn't for you unless you decide to give it a shot; you'd also risk wasting $40 and time out of your life.
 
I've heard nothing but good news about this game, and since it's been released in America and my parents are over there, i've asked them to track it down for me ^_^ Since i'm gonna buy it when it comes out anyway, so might as well cut down the waiting time.
 
I have not looked into this game at all.

Chances are I will get it, but in addition to those chances there is the fact that I probably won't get it until its been released for a year or two since I don't play video games quite as much as I once did.
 
I might consider buying this for a friend and then boring it from him. I already have a PSP so i wouldnt bother getting a DS just for this game. TBH i hate Nintendo... They have pretty crap games other then a few i suppose but i wont name em :D
 
Yeah, I'll but it, partly because it ties in with the numbers. But I have downloaded the ROM, so far, it looks good. The characters actually have emotions, creepy. But I'll have to wait till early next year to buy it though. Sigh... Why must we get all of the games so late?
