[16/8] KH3: Big Hero 6 World Announced

Evening all.

As expected, D23 has dropped some news about KH3. Not much has been revealed other than the images and presence, but Sora will be joining Baymax in the near future.

I haven't even seen this film yet and I'm quite excited.

With Rapunzel's Tower from Tangled featuring recently, it seems long-term fans' prayers have been answered and some more recent Pixar films will be featuring in the Kingdom Hearts Universe. Perhaps Sora will get to build that snowman after all.

No other news yet. If we all wish hard enough, we might find that Disney managed to cut through the red tape with Marvel and Lucasfilm - then again, wouldn't we expect Stark Tower or a Death Star to lead the announcements? Who knows...
 
Taking place after the events of the film, Sora and friends will go on grand adventures with Hiro and Baymax who, along with their companions, have been recognized as an official superhero team, and Sora will even be able to ride Baymax! Darkness will manipulate the body of the old Baymax left behind in the portal in the film, as depicted in the concept art shared at the panel, drawn by Tetsuya Nomura.

Im actually a little disapointed.........Big Hero 6 has always felt more like a dreamworks movie. And that cutscene there just proves how far kingdom Hearts series is trying to derail. heres to hoping that they will bring far more classic worlds qith classic design.....


But i doubt it.
 
I haven't seen the movie, so I have no input as far as that goes. I'm sure it'll be a fun world, though.

They need to release the worlds a bit faster now, though.
 
Im sure it is...but im sure itll be fun without it too.

If you see the film, youll understand. Its not a bad movie but nothing about it says "Disney".

I actually enjoy Big Hero Six and think it is a Disney film. I mean it isn't a Disney Classic with a princess or anything, but it was amazing! depending on who and what they put into Kingdom Hearts, it could work out. A lot better than Pirates of the Caribbean, that world really felt out of place in Kingdom Hearts....

I am more interested though in what the Pixar world will be... I think they will pick Toy Story, but I wouldn't mind either Wall-E or Monster Inc, don't need a sea world again and I think any of the ones like Incredibles or Up wouldn't work... The only other one I would say maybe to is A Bugs Life... I really don't wanna see a Cars one....
 
I always distinguished pixar from classic disney. You can see the diference. So big hero six feels more dream works mixed with pixar. Kh has always been more classical side. Its not that big hero 6 was a bad movie. Its just not one i expect out of KH. Kh might aswell be made by xfinity staff
