This year Square Enix is holding a conference at E3, but we don’t know much about what it’ll entail, besides the fact that we’ll see the gameplay debut of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and that Final Fantasy XV won’t appear in favor of a promotional reboot at Gamescom.

In the latest issue of weekly Famitsu, the magazine tried to get some information from the biggest publishers on what they’re going to show at E3, and the Square Enix representative was keen on teasing.

“At this year’s E3, we’ll have our own conference for the first time after two years, where we’ll deliver to everyone the rich line-up of the Square Enix Group. What we’re going to show off at E3 is unprecedented in the history of Square Enix, with a strong line-up in which each can be considered a centerpiece.

Since we plan to stream the conference live, it’ll be at night [in Japan], but please watch it!”
The article also included comments from Microsoft, Bethesda, Warner Bros., Sony and Ubisoft.

Microsoft mentioned that we’ll see the games that will be released in the holidays, and the latest information about the Xbox One line-up, including more games from ID@Xbox and more on how Windows 10 will work on Xbox One. Warner Bros. was keen on hyping the upcoming Mad Max game, while Ubisoft proved rather tight-lipped, just talking about the announced playable line-up with The Division, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and Rainbow Six: Siege.

Bethesda hyped Doom and Fallout 4, which will get its first gameplay video, and Sony… Well… It was pretty much a collection of (very polite) “no comment” answers. Looks like the house of PlayStation is keeping its cards close to its chest this time around.

PS: Before someone inevitably puts this in the comments, I will.

I will accept nothing less than an HD remaster of Final Fantasy XII to be released on PS3/PS4/PS Vita this year to justify this claim. I don't give a shit about crap like Deus Ex, smartphone bollocks, or anything else like that. I want to see some proper JRPGs. Things that Square Enix used to actually be good at. And FFXII HD...and Star Ocean 5, maybe.

I'll believe it when I see it. Which I won't, because Square Enix has been nothing but shit since before I joined this forum.

I'm not really exited. With Type-0 HD being boring, FFXV being a huge mess and KH3 nowhere to be seen, I really don't see what there is to get hyped about. ALL THE BRAVEST 2 PERHAPS?!?!?!?! No but seriously, Square hasn't made an interesting announcement in years. So their track record isn't really building trust in me. Just expect a boring and utterly lackluster show, so IF they actually announce something BIG, you can be suprised. And if not, then you won't get disappointed.

Also Sony will propably announce more delays again. It's all they seem to be good for right now.

WOW, I sound like a synical douche.

what I want to see out of SE is FFXII-HD, anything less than that will be failure in my book. I also think seeing a new Tomb Raider is somewhat manditory after the reboot a few years ago, it was a good reboot time to keep going already. Announcement of a new AAA title would be nice, maybe a new Dragon Quest, hell bring Dragon Quest X to the US already? hmm maybe? how about a new Grandia? how about a new Mana for a major home console? I could keep going.. but the one I really want to see is the resurrection of the Chrono series!

I also want Final fantasy xiii HD on vita. But most importantly, I want the international zodiac version. I know this sounds insane but I would like more additions as well. Some more hints to tactics and possibly even new redone ending.....

I know it's a lot to ask but I would like an ff12 +

With hopes of bringing back "Fortress"....

I want to see more games for vita as it has most potential. ...I would also like some new IP.

Guaranteed

+ Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
+ Rise of the Tomb Raider (albeit at the Microsoft conference)
+ Triad Wars in some shape or form
+ Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward
+ Bravely Second
+ Dragon Quest Heroes
+ at least one mobile offering, such as Mobius: Final Fantasy

Very possible

+ New Hitman announcement
+ Life is Strange's future episodes
+ Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness

Some chance of happening

+ Theatrhythm: Dragon Quest
+ Dragon Quest VIII for 3DS
+ Something related to Kingdom Hearts, be it a KH Collection for current machines, or a small scrap of KH3-flavoured teasing

Should happen, but bugger if I have faith in them to actually do it

+ Final Fantasy XII: IZJS HD
+ Exciting new IPs everywhere that shows they don't just give a shit about Final Fantasy

+ Dragon Quest Heroes
<-- this is NOT the Dragon Quest I am looking for. These have not been turn based RPGS, generally action (hack and slash) games.
+ Bravely Second
<-- Why would they show something over 2 months released? This one i don't get, what for the non-JP market? or just lack of real showings
on the Deus Ex and Tomb Raider both of those were known , kind of, but seeing them finally would be nice
A new Hitman doesn't interest me, some people love the series so I guess that would be good for them
Star Ocean 5: Integrity and Faithlessness
<--- This would be great, a release date would be better!

I just have no hope for S.E. actually releasing a title this year or next that I am going to drop FFXIV to play and that is sad. Single player games should provide more enjoyment than a MMO to me, but S.E. has failed to deliver on that front time and again. Exception is the FFX remasters, which I think they did a great job with. FFXII remastered would be great.

From Square Enix I want to see more of FFXV, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Until Dawn, and whatever the Type-0 sequel would be.

More generally I want to know more on No Man's Sky (Release Date), The Division, Rainbow Six: Siege, Bethesda's Next-Gen Engine (explicitly next-gen, nothing of an engine that's been created by modifying their Creation/Gamebryo Engine), and Project Morpheus.
