Is there still a little bit of cleaning up in the forums to be done? Or is it just something else? I cannot upload avatars.
 
You mean it isn't letting you upload them at all? =/ i was able to upload mine fine...

are you trying to upload yours via upload from your PC or from photobucket or something?

Mark, judging from the fact she asked about uploading, surely you realize she's talking about uploading from the PC, don't you? xD

What type of file is it saved as? i know certain types of file aren't allowed...
 
Can't imagine what could be wrong. That was the format my chibi Albel was in. :\
 
It probably is nothing to do with what kind of image it is. I tried putting on JPEG and other formats, but the same message still keeps appearing.
 
i'm fairly sure that PNG images aren't allowed, or accepted or something..and if you say saving it as a JPEG and that has failed...i can only suggest saving it as a JPEG and then uploading it via photobucket.

Only .PNGs can preserve transparency.
 
I don't think there's anything wrong with his image format. I also cannot upload a new profile picture, and I'm trying to upload pictures that I have used before. I don't find it off beat that Avy uploads might not work for some of us either. On any note, I've already told Darkblade about it and he said he would fix it soon...

It's most likely your individual permissions. Usergroups have randomly re-configured themselves somehow on many occasions, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were this.


However, I see no other reason as to why this would happen. If a file-type isn't accepted, it'll say just that; not the jibberish you're currently getting.
 
I tried updating a Template in the Admin CP involving the avatars and was wondering if those who had problems recently with changing avatars...still have that problem? Let me know if you are still experiencing trouble or the problem is fixed; mainly PreZ and Faith since those are the 2 I know mentioned it first.
 
Well, shortly after Faith I began having problems changing my avatars and still am.
