I will update this periodically with hilarious facts, anyone else, please post others here too.
In the beginning, we shall start with animals...

- Daddy Longlegs have the strongest poison known to man, but no teeth

- The Montana Mountain Goat has been known to butt heads so hard that their hooves fall off

- Adult male giraffes bang their long necks together in a form of ritual fighting, during which no harm is done to either giraffe

- Snake venom is ninety percent protein

- Texas horned toads can shoot blood out of the corners of their eyes

- Foxes sometimes nip at the heals of cattle so the stomping of the cattle makes mice and other rodents come out of the ground, for the fox to eat

- Bats always turn left when exiting a cave

- A mule won't sink in quicksand but a donkey will

- All shrimp are born as males, but slowly grow into females as they mature

- A blue whale's tongue weighs more than an elephant

I
- Daddy Longlegs have the strongest poison known to man, but no teeth

Actually, I've heard that one is just a rumor. They don't really have a powerful poison, and they are capable of biting humans.

Here are my additions:

-Pigs can't look up at the sky

-Cows cannot vomit

-When running from predators, sea cucumbers will puke their guts (literally) out and run away. They can regrow them!

-Starfish can regrow lost legs/arms an infinite amount of times

A crocodile can run up to a speed of 11 miles per hour. :gasp:

A female ferret can die if she is on heat and cannot find a man ferret

I so know how she feels -_-

You can tell if a skunk is about if you smell only .000 000 000 000 071 ounce of its spray.

Found that on some random site. Holy crap. Getting sprayed must be painful.

There's one that's like ... if you fart consistently for 6 years or so, you'll build up enough gas to create the same effect as an atomic bomb. :wacky:

I've heard that recently aswel, I think one of my farts could be used as a weapon of mass destruction though :gasp:

I think you did read it here, because I heard it too. :monster:

It was when they were deciding on a new notice, and went with the 'Random Fact' thing i.e. A pig's orgasm lasts 30 minutes and some others I can't remember.

You've all heard of it because I posted it on the notice one day.

Furthermore, this isn't the spam section. Don't divert from the topic...

That I do, never thought of that. :monster:

-Starfish don't have brains.

-A snail can sleep for three years.

-Tigers have striped skin, not just striped fur. (I already knew that actually, I think it was on QI aswell..)

-The Amazon Rain Forest produces half of the world's oxgyen supply.

-Male monkeys lose hair on their heads in the same way some men do.

-A hippo can open its mouth wide enough to fit a 4 foot tall child inside.

-Baby robins eat up to 14 feet of earthworms every day.

-The giant crab of Japan can be as large as 12 feet across.

-The sex of a baby crocodile is determined by the temperature in the nest and how deeply the eggs are buried.

All polar bears are left handed. Yarly.
I wasn't even aware that Polar bears could write. :monster:

-You can tell the sex of a horse by its teeth. Most males have 40, females have 36.

-Because of the rotation of the Earth, an object can be thrown farther if it is thrown west.

-A day on the planet Mercury is twice as long as its year.

Ooh I have some.

Cockroaches can live for 9 days after their head has been cut off.

In Cleveland, Ohio (har har) it is illegal to catch mice without a hunting license. (Dummmmb).

If you spray a polar bear's fur with disinfectant, it will turn purple XD Heard that from a friend.
