Why was the automatic bank interest turned off? I know there was a notice about it when it happened. But it just seems annoying to manually do it every day. I do not see the point. I think it should be set to automatic again. Since I haven't seen a good reason to shut it off, really.

I think they did it so that people who are inactive a lot of the time do not benefit.
It was turned off while I was in jail, probably an attempt to make sure that I was not the richest member.
I do agree though, it should be turned back on.
 
I didn't loose all my money. I just find it annoying that I have to remember to hit this dumb button. Which used to be something I didn't have to worry about.
 
Yeah it's more methodic to have to manually collect it each day, but what is it, like two clicks to go to the bank and collect it? I forget some days, but I don't think people who don't stay active should be able to collect interest while they aren't here.

There isn't much to collect it for anyways...unless you want a moogle, some sort of user/profile customization, or a smiley. I just don't see the recent obsession with gil on our site.
 
It is it a matter of remembering more than it takes a long time to do. Just think it was a dumb decision to remove a convenience. Heck, I was an active member of this forum for years. Just because I am not as active now shouldn't penalize me.
 
Yes they absolutely should change the system so a member who signs up and never posts has more gil than an active member who has been around half the time. Simply so all that hard work you did being active does not go to waste. Without being automatically given useless pretend money on a website, what's even the point of joining?
 
Don't really see the point of your posts, on this thread, Emmy. I am simply asking for a feature back. It really isn't your business whether somebody else is active on the forum or not. Not like anybody is giving the forum money.

What is with you guys? It is not like I am overly worried about. If the staff decides to leave it the way it is, I will go my merry way. You guys seemed more concerned about this then me. All worried somebody is getting stuff you aren't. I have been a member since 2006. All three of the people complaining about my request have only been members since 2010. Also, I was on staff for 4 years. Just move along already.
