China - Two mongrel dogs have been sentenced to death for urinating on the side of a snack bar in the southern Chinese town of Guangzhou, splashing two diners and spraying urine on 6 others, state media said.

The urinating last February was part of a territory dispute, the official Xinhua News Agency said late Monday.

Bob the dog was sentenced to death, while scruffy the other dog was also given death but with the possibility of it being commuted to a life sentence if he shows good behavior over the next two years, the report said.

The two dogs have appealed their sentences, it said.

Benny, the alsatian dog who masterminded the plot, was sentenced to life in prison, Xinhua said. He also appealed his sentence.

The report said another dog and several cats was given 15 years for their role in the scheme.

xlolx China has a brilliant government. Most other countries have facists or idiots, US had Bush, Cheney and Gonzalez. UK has Kilroy, Boris and Archer and the whole house of lords. France has Le Pen. Italy has Berlesconi, India and Pakistan both are terrible.
It's one of the reasons why China's economy will overtake America's in the next 20 years or so.
