I doubt it will ever happen but would any of you play a battle royal type game. If they took all the playable characters and enemies and make either a fighter game or a super smash bros type game with it? Would you play it? I think it'd be a bitching side project. I don't know if they'd do it right but it'd be cool regardless.

I would still rather them focuse on new RPG games and/or FFVII remake before this title though.
 
Maybe. Then again, Square doesn't exactly have a great track record when it comes to any genre outside of RPG's.

I mean, The Bouncer, Ergeiz, and Driving Emotion S were all pretty bad.

I never really gave Ergeiz a fair chance, but from what I played, for some reason it intrigued me. It's been quite awhile now, so I barely remember it, but I do remember liking it.


As for myself, I would love to see a battle royal type game. I'm just going to assume that it will be a good game for it's genre, and not that SE in any way would screw it up. I think that, if done properly, it would be extremely fun.
 
I would love a game like this. Sort of like that Smash Brothers Melee type game but with the best of the best from the FF series. I was sort of thinking that FFXIII: Versus would be something along the lines of that, but I guess not. Oh well. Maybe years and yeears down the road it could happen.
 
I have always wanted a game like this to come out. I know that I would enjoy a smash bros set up game with FF characters if done well. In the next smash bros game they are putting "Limit Break" like moves and I thought it would be awesome with FF characters. Just think, Cloud vs Squall and they do their specials, Omnislash against Lion Heart. Would be the best game ever made.

Ehrgeiz was actually a pretty entertaning game for the most part. And the Bouncer was alright.
 
I'd love to see a game like that. ^_^ All the FF characters being able to fight together/versus. I'm not to sure about their non-RPG games, since I haven't played them, so I'm not sure if I would give the task of that game to them. Maybe they could co-make it with another company or somethin'.
