Best combination of jobs

Dragoon - Physical Tank
Devout - Healing
Summoner - Magic Damage and party Damage
Ninja - Fast, high damage

2 Warriors, a ninja with a ton of shurikens, and a devout in the back row.

At the moment, ( UNFORTUNATELY ) i havn't chose a job yet since... (P.M me the answer please)...I dont know if i can chnage it back to Something else if i dont like it, EG. " i just became warrior, oh, i dont like this job... I wanna be a theif instead..." ( Thats just an Example) T.Y and lol i want my team to be like the intro, Is this the combination im only guessing : Luneth is a... Knight? umm Arc is a Black mage and Blacksmith Daughter is White mage correct? and is the Royal Guard guy a Ranger or a red mage? B.T.W im guessing the intro coz it looks like a cool Combination even if its not Strong =P )

same here but the last time ive played on it and beat the boss and the time i erased my PERFECT file was:

ninja, summoner, devout, warrior!

I've mastered this game, I have the perfect file =] Even 2 Gungir's (spelling?)

The "best team" is obviously 4 Onion Knight, but that's to cheap. For dishing out the most damage and most supportive, this is what I use.

Black Belt: Boost owns. 394 Max attack (Hand damage is different from Swords and everything else), Black Belts have the potential to KO the Final Boss with a critical after 2 boosts and haste.

Devout: Best healer in the game. Protect, Haste, Curaga and -aja are really all that should be used. Sage works just as good, actually better, but has less MP.

Summoner: Deals the most Elemental damage (besides Geomancer at J-Lvl 99). The only reason I prefer Summoner over Geomancer is you get to control what you use, otherwise, Shadowflare would destroy.

Ninja: Throwing shurikens deals the most damage, probably, in the game, besides the 2x Boosted Black Belt.

Yep, I really use the Sage over the Devout, but I recommend Devout at lower levels.

Hopes this helps.

For other jobs...

Dark Knight: The only reason to use a Dark Knight is for the coolness, really. Or if your fighting Multiplying monsters. Its outclassed by the Knight, really.

Knight: The defense is great. He can protect weaken characters and can equip the strongest weapons in the game. The Lv.1 Magic is useless >_>

Dragoon: 2 reasons to use Dragoon. For the cool feeling like the Dark Knight, and flying enemies. Jump kills just about anything (even bosses >_>) who are flyers.

Ranger: Barrage on single enemies (like dragons) is ownage, nothing more to say, except that their armor choice is extremely weak...

Viking: Provoke. Equip 2 Crystal Shields and all the Crystal armor, and you have Cecil from Final Fantasy IV. Tanks really well, and even better with Protect support. (Works great on the secret boss)

Warrior: Warriors are underrated. Advance with the 2 strongest Swords / Axes s/he can equip deals massive damage.

That's about all the useful jobs, but the first four I mentioned are probably the best. Bard is ok, the supports are good.

I chose Devout-Black Belt-Bard-Viking for my most recent Dark Cloud battle. Simple, really: Cut your Viking's job level in half and the Provoked opponent's Defense goes down by that precent. Therefore, a Job Level 99 Viking can cut a foe's Defense in half. THen I use a Bard to cast Aura and protective spells and my Black Belt to attack.

I'm currently playing it and I have Luneth and Ingus as Warriors with some pretty powerful early weapons. Then I have Arc as my Monk who's dealing a good pack of damage with his bare fists, and then Refia is my White Mage who's got my back in the heat of battles.

So:
2 Warriors
1 White Mage
1 Monk

This is so far because I only have the Wind Crystal job classes. I'm about to stumble upon my second set of classes soon I think.

This is a ultimate combination,
I swear it has never failed me even in the hardest battles.

Arc-Dragon Knight
Ingus-Ninja
Luneth-Dragoon
Sage-Refia

Im not that sure about sage but you need someone like that.
Sage or summoner up to you, i think I prefered the Sage because it can be very helpful in certian places.

Hope i helped!
