its gotta be shadow all the way, he's so bad ass and he's unpredictable. he's got my vote fo sho.

Shadow gets my vote as well, he has the look and the attitude of a real Ninja. He's awesome in my opinion. Yuffie annoyed me at times and wasn't the best character either. Shadow was just downright cool and acted like a real ninja most of the time. He's one of my favorite characters in FFVI. :)
 
Out of those three, Shadow would have to win. Yuffie was just annoying and Edge was just fully of himself...

Yuffie : Waaaaah
Edge : Im a ninja NINJA NINJA~!!!
Shadow : *kills both with a couple tack stars*
Shiirow : *gives Shadow TWO nickels*
 
Yuffie seemed like the cute, spoiled, ninja anime girl. As much as I like Yuffie I voted for Shadow. He more of your mysterious, heroic ninja.
 
I'd have to say Shadow on this one...

I liked Yuffie's personality a lot, but out of the three listed, Shadow truly owns them all in my opinion.
 
I really like Yuffie, but she isn't the greatest ninja. Shadow really had the attitude and the look of a real ninja.
 
Well I guess i'm the only one who count edge at close 2nd, I mean he was cool and Shadow was created 2 games ahead also. Probably cause I never played FFVII. Yeah, Shadow is just so cool all around I had a feeling he'd win. Too bad he never got any ninjustu or am I overlooking that cause I didn't play FFVI enough?
 
Shadow gets my vote as well. I like Yuffie and she's a great thief, but Shadow's one of the best out there. Hey, it is what it is...
 
Hmm I´m torn between Edge and Shadow. Yuffie is hard to see as ninja.

Shadow is more like ninja they really had Japan in the 15th century, he was real assassin. Edge is more like honorable ninja and I like more honor ninjas but I say I like them both equally and Shadow has is hero- moments too were he proves he is not just man who´d slice his mamas throat for a nickel.
Damn that line was changed in Advance version.
 
Shadow IS the best - even early on in the game, if you could only do 200 or less HP of damage to an enemy, his partner would come in and help you, and totally kick ass. His Shurikens made my battle against the Phantom Train so much easier. Aha, I recently got FFVI Advanced!
 
Shadow truly did exemplify the archetypal ninja in the way that he behaved and lived his life. Cool and badass all the way just like his Ennio Morricone inspired theme music. Edge, however, had the skills and tricks of a fully-fledged ninja which made him a versatile character for combat and escape. It's a shame he did not have an interesting backstory like Shadow, detailing the reasons as to why he chose the path of the ninja. Still, I preferred him over Yuffie.
 
yuffie wanted to make me blow my brains out im sick of the typical hyperactive anime girl bullshit ive seen sooooo many times.(the only reason they are still used is because thoes damn fanboys/girls just eat it up)

as for edge hes my faveorite.. i liked his personality


and i agree with holydemon ryu hayabusa would rip them all up times 10 lol

What you didn´t get why he became a ninja? Well all the people in his country were ninjas, although their appearance didn´t support that but the game said many times ninjas of Eblana. So he just had ninja training just like his people had in many generations.
 
Edge. Mostly because he was the first one I played. He was spoiled, but came around near the end. Shadow definitely was the most ninja like, but we're talking opinions here, and edge wins as my favorite.
