It's gotta be Shadow. My fave out of the three is Yuffie, but she's not quite ninja enough. Same for Edge; I often forget that he's a ninja at all.

I love his backstory more than almost anyone else's in the game, and his is probably the most emotional (maybe second to Locke's loss).
Shadow's reason fro becoming a ninja stemmed from his previous life as a criminal in heists and the accident between himself and Baram, which led to his relationship with a woman and the birth of his daughter. In teh end he was personally stripped of all his emotions and turned into a silent mercenary. The dreams he has in the World of Ruin are quite awesome for how short they are. I feel out of all the ninja's in the franchise, Shadow had the best sneak attack to his personality and his character.

i prefer Yufie to the other two but that is mainly because i haven't used the other two, due top not getting to far in their corresponding games

Shadow all the way. He has the dark way of living and he always told you that he would kill you at anytime if he had too. I also liked his dog and sometimes when you got hit he would attack the enemy for some pretty good damage.

Shadow of course, because everyone knows all ninja's have dogs that come out of nowhere and bite you and block attacks with their heads.
