Whilst watching the movie I noticed that there were alot of changes in Advent Children for example: Clouds bike and the clothes that the characters wore, do you think that these changes were necessary? Do you think that there were too many changes? Do you think that the changes paid off?
 
think it's just the change from cheesy to good graphics... have to admit that FFVII graphics are crappy and very unaccurate with FFVII: AC's graphs are very detailed

if you look at the difference in design for WoW humans and FFXI Humes they're also very different eventhough they resemble the same race, i think it's pretty normal such changes occur unintentional
 
A lot of the reasonings behind the changes was this was all taking place 2 years later. You really didn't expect Tifa to keep her long hair or Cloud to still continue to wear his SOLDIER uniform? Also if you read the novels, you'll also learn the reason why Cloud's bike is different is because he had modifications done to it by earning the extra money through doing deliveries. Anyway, they couldn't all still be wearing the exact same things 2 years later, I mean c'mon. I quite enjoyed the changes and I loved Cloud's new look as well as Tifa's. I also really like how they redid Aerith's jacket to make it look more modern and denim as well ^_^
 
I have to agree with Lady Aerith on this one. The changes were extremely good and well done and it was indeed necessary. I love Cloud's bike the most. It was just so awesome and so detailed!

Yuffie, Vincent, Barret, Cid, Red XIII, and Cait Sith didn't really have any changes, I noticed. Heh, I guess they wanted to keep their old look, which is fine with me. They weren't really in the movie that much anyway, so their main focus was on the three characters. (Cloud, Tifa, and Aeris.)

I just wish that they could've shown Aeris' face more than once though. :( Oh and I love how Zack looked too! ^_^

Makes complete utter sense; and was kinda obvious if you really think about it. There are going to be changes otherwise it would be unrealistic. I think it's safe to say that things would change after 2 whole years.
 
Well I would hope they would change their clothes sometime during those 2 years.

I do kind of miss Tifa's fish tail hair though.

And I miss when Yuffie wore green.

Barret's new gun was pretty cool though.

Not a fan of Cid's new outfit. I love his video game one. He also looks like he got a few years younger. Shera must be a really good wife.

I kind of wish that they kept the old airship from the game. It would have been cool to see it in AC.

well Cid did say it's the latest model, and him being a pilot it's pretty obvious he wants a newer and better ship, not?
and i guess that after 2 years the ship would have wrecked by then, considering his reckless... erm... piloting?
 
ha ha... i think cloud really needs that new bike, as his old one is unable to contain all of his different swords. Don't you think the characters look much better and refreshed with their new outfits? I find that the change is much needed.
