Biggest Scene of "Ownage" In Final Fantasy.

I'd have to say when Cloud unleashes Omnislash on Sephiroth at the end of Final Fantasy VII, I must say, he does take quite a beating from all those high powered slashes.
 
FFVII: Sadly the Aeris scene. Also when Sephiroth unleashes Super Nova on the poor defenseless planets.

FFX: Bahamut's Mega Flare sequence. And yes a dead Seymour equals massive OWN anyday.

FFT: Altima's giant comet of doom on a froggied character.
 
well ill have to chose from on final fantasy 7 these 3
1 when diamond got that bullet through his stomach
2 when emerald weapon killed me.....
3 when one of the weapons lost his head
 
top 3 for me from FFIX:

1. Alexander owning Bahamut, but then the invincible owing him.

2. Odin Oblierating Clerya.

3. I think on disc 2, when Queen Brahne attacks Lindblum, with that gate summon, cant remember the name, but it was epic with the soldiers getting sucked in, and the black mages charging through the city.
 
When Kuja blew up Alexandria.

Cloud stabbing Sephiroth and throwing him down a reactor.

Seymour telling Kimahri he wiped out most of his clan.

The end of FFIX when
Zidane is running into the Lifa tree to save Kuja, he escapes the vines that are thrown at him, and leaps to try and get to Kuja, but misses the platform and after a breif pause of the camera in the air, he falls down
. I loved that bit, lol.

Kefka.. In General... Just Kefka being Kefka'ish.. Perhaps the
death of Leo in particular
, and
death of Ghestal. Kefka kicking Ghestal off of the floating continent
has all the components of a scene of ownage in my opinion.

X-Death warping myriads of towns and places into the N-Zone.

Cloud stabbing sephiroth at Nibelheim..

Many many more!
 
- In FFX, Sin wiping out almost all of the crusaders in Operation Mi'hen.

- And when Sin uses its Overdrive. (Giga-Gravija or something)

- Also, like Rellik259 said, in FF7 when the Mako Cannon destroys Diamond weapon in one shot
 
Many others have mentioned Operation Mi'ihen and the Gilgamesh/Odin mess, but I have to vote for a minor FFX scene which is nevertheless a fan favorite:

And the funny thing about that clip is you almost don't even need to see the moment of actual 'pwnage' that follows, because you know from the gleam in ol' Grouch's eye what's coming next.

FFX does an AMAZING job of motivating you, the player, to want to help Yuna beat Sin. That sounds obvious, but there are other where you don't get the constant reminder, "here is what you're fighting for... and good luck, because how are you gonna fight THAT?"
 
Ultimecia(inside Edea's body) shooting that ice-spell through Squall's chest, at the parade.

When the party meet Sephiroth in the core of the planet, and he makes them scream in pain with only the power of his mind.

Beatrix ownig the party multiple times.

Seifer being owned by the party multiple times.

Kefka being owned by the party multiple times.
 
Most certainly Odin getting pwned in FFVIII be Seifer. Also, I agree with Operation Mi`hen. Sin totally pwned the Crusaders. Lol.
 
IV - Tellah vs. Golbez. Golbez is all "haha you suck" then gets owned by Meteor.
V - Exdeath sending towns and villages into the N-Zone, particularly Bartz's home town and Tycoon Castle.
VI - Not only does Kefka kill Gestahl, but he cheekily kicks his body off the floating continent. Then he owns the entire planet. Remake on DS plz, I wanna see that in 3D.
VII - Diamond Weapons owns Shinra, only to get owned by a laser that also owns Sephiroth's barrier.
VIII - Odin gets owned by Seifer, Gilgamesh thanks Seifer by owning him right back.
IX - Brahne's death. "Oh...shit"
X - Operation Mi-ihen. 'Nuff said.
X-2 - Dona kicks out Barthello. Not ownage as such, but I thought it was funny.
XII - Ghis is owned by his own stupidity. It's common sense not to put powerful nethicite into a bloody airship engine.
 
The biggest scene of ownage would have to be when Kuja turned Bahamut against Brahne and Killed the fat blob.

Bahamut completely destroying Alexandria, it was epic, and also when Lindblum got had off by that Atomos summon, that was one ugly eidolon.....

Oh and er, Zacks death in Crisis Core. He got done over big time
