I really like #2 , #5 and #7 , so voting for those ones.
#2 Love the idea and most especially the text. It's different from the norm.
#5 The face looming in besides Vivi looks neat. I didn't notice it at first.
#7 Simply gorgeous. The text is the main focus here, which makes this banner very different from all the banners we've had in the past. It would be really cool to see this regularly. And I'm tempted to poke that Cactuar. It's cute.

7 is good cuz its quality but at the same time deviates from what weve had for 60000 years
i liked 5 i think too i am not going back to check but the text was way too small for a banner

#1 its the most professional looking one with very balanced effects and use of characters, I like how the foreground is full of FF characters and the background is full of various FF backgrounds
The Text is very good in it too overall I loved it the most.
My other two votes would go for 7 & 8 both are more unique than the others and have a good sense of balance

My first vote goes to entry #1 I love the colours - they work very well with the skin - and the overall design is really creative. The artist has selected a good set of pictures which capture SOME of the key moments in the FF series and these are very well arranged. 
The text works well too.
My second vote goes to entry #2 . I like the symmetry in this design and the way each picture has been framed within the film strip. The colour scheme is consistent too.
Six I cannot see #7 , so I am reserving my final vote for now. :hmmmm:

I vote for 8 and 3.They really pop and well designed. Will definitely give the forums more balance in the dark department.

#1 would have to be my favourite. I really like the film reel thing happening. I really like how well they've incorporated most of the Final Fantasys and characters into the banner. Awesome stuff.

#8 looks so light and pretty. I love the colour scheme compared to the other darker banners. The background is nicely done and I really like that the serious look about it. Very cool!
