[Birthweek] Triple Triad Sign-ups

Someone suggested one match to me. :hmmm: Though to be honest I don't see an option in the "Create a Tournament" for that specific detail. It might be one match as default, unless there's a draw.
 
Well, we will find out when the tournament gets going. It's not really a big deal to me, so *shrugs*.
 
Ah well if its one match I'm still cool with it so no worries. But I would prefer best out of three matches.

If its just the one I'm sure you can carry on if it's a draw, through the sudden death rule which I presume we will be using.
 
I would assume that if it is bracket style, then the final round would be a best of 3, like most things are.
 
Alright, tournament created. I can't seem to get that Close rule to work.

The option given to me are:

Open
Combo
Same
Same Wall
Plus
Random
Sudden Death
Elemental


Made sure that Open was unchecked, but then you'll see it'll say:

Tournament Rules:
No rules


I'm assuming that the rounds will be included in this one tournament until it whittles it down to one winner...I really don't know. =/ So I'm kinda blindly guessing how to set this up the rules properly. I don't know if I'm supposed to create the rounds separately or what...


Oh well if we must do a trial version then so be it. xD
 
A tournament without the close rule ruins the whole thing.

The places in the tournament are open, so I think we have to take our spots in the order of who we playing.

But before that like you said I think we should go for the trial run. Can I enter myself into the current one and play against someone to see what its like?
 
Yeah go ahead. I don't even know if it'll let you play yet until the rest of the players have entered. I'll see if I can grab Belazor and inquire about the Close rule. Because I had "Open" unchecked (created a few test tournaments earlier) but it's just not doing anything. =/

I'm thinking that I might have to apply all rules in one single tournament, but I'll do that later. Let this current one be a test trial first.

I havent joined yet, but I can still use my old cards.

Are you sure you've disabled my TT collection?
And yeah it does say no rules, so I'm thinking it may just be the basic rule: (Try and place a card next to another with a smaller value).
 
First thing I noticed is that there are no rules, even the one you have set up dont work, Random isn't on or anything so, i didnt join it yet.

Crud. Yeah I forgot to disable yours. :ryan: I'm assuming you've already purchased the TT pack...in which case I'll have to reset everything and will donate points after so you can purchase it again. Give me 5 minutes.

And I've selected some of my cards (not from the TT pack). Oooops

I've resetted all your cards, so go ahead and repurchase the TT pack again.
 
I've re-purchased it and I've got the cards everythings fine now.

But I can't enter the tournament again with them cards. :/So I think I may be still using my normal cards for this trial run.

Also JR has entered but I don't think we'll be able to proceed to the match until the full 8 players have done so (we might have to wait for some time for any other players).

But on a positive note (for me), I think I may win this one. :ryan:
 
I wouldn't be so sure about that. Things can happen unexpectedly, and they could not favor you. :ahmed:

Don't worry about that since this is a trial version.

When all 8 players do enter the tournament, go ahead and play the member you're up against with. Then let me know whether that ends that one particular tournament or if you're automatically put in another round with someone random, and if the rules stay the same, etc.

After all is said and done, I'll have to reset the cards again and give you all points to repurchase the TT pack. Then the real match begins.
 
Actually you know what, I'll go take someone's spot for now and enter it myself. Just so I can get a good look of how this whole thing will play out.
