now im sure many of us played both of the games. which blitzball did you guys like the most X or X-2?

i found x-2 is game very flat and it provided no player interaction that x had. yes it made those games faster to go through but that was it. it made it lose the need for player skill. it wasn't challenging to win anymore.

x sure i found the games sometimes too long, sometimes dragged on. but that was the only thing i can really complain. i loved the little mini game in the beginning giving you the oppurtunity to earn the jecht shot, which becomes helpful and enteraining to watch. i loved the visuals. movement wasn't that bad it did have a few glitchs.

verdict: i would have to say X.

it would be great if in x-2 they had combined both styles or provided the option of using either one to allow players to have the choice in using the time consuming but awesome visual player interactive style or the rapid but lack of visual and player interaction style.

I hated Blitzball in both games, but I have to concede that Blitzball in FFX was far superior. I haven't played Blitzball much in X-2, but I remember it as the player choosing the team and then just watching the team play really quickly or something?

Regardless, much as I hated it, Blitzball in FFX was this really intense game and it was very intriguing. The games I did play were pretty good (even though I sucked at it, which is why I hate it), and I can see why some people become Blitz addicts - If I was better at it, I think I would have played it more.

I didnt really like it in eitehr game, but at least I could play it in X, I jsut didnt understand it in X-2, it felt more like a football manager game, and they are liek the most boring thing I have ever come across. They were both shit tbqh, but X-2 was on a level of shitness that I didnt even bother trying to get my head round

I loved the management side of FFX-2 The training Option gave you something to work on it made Harder because you had to watch out the the players fatique whilst training them. and the scouting option was pretty decent as well, I only wish you could play as the besaid aurochs instead of the gullwings because at the start there awful you have to scout for better players straight away

I liked it in FFX. I usually played a game or two at every save point. But then again I'm a sports enthusiast, so that probably appealed to me. Keepa was awesome for me. Like my own digitally rendered version of Buffon.

FFX-2's version blew chunks.

For some weird reason, I loved X-2's Blitzball. It was a real challenge training your characters high enough to actually win the league, something that was EXTREMELY easy in X.

Played blitzball in both and i found FFX-2's blitzball S*** so i had to go with Final fantasy X's Blitzball a you actually got to play the game, it was amazing, highly addictive and i love playing every game, winning all of them [well i never lost a game that i can remember]

Indeed, I felt like I was playing some dumb football game at one point. Bliztball is so dull and annoying that I just swithc off when I have to play it. Just such a painful experince.

Lol, you didn't even get to "play" the game as such in X-2, you just watched your characters mess about. So much for fun interaction. In X, it was godly. You got to choose your moves, pass to whoever, and actually SEE the game in action.

i enjoyed playing blitzball in ffx. it was really fun in the begining when it was actually a challenge. then when your players start getting better, the game just got too easy and boring. so i ended up playing the game just to get wakka stuff. i would usually just hold on to the ball and wait until the end and then score so the time would go by faster

in ffx-2, blitzball suck becasue you couldn't even do anything. you don't play the game at all so that was not fun at all

FFX all the way! The biggest difference to me was the fact that you actually controlled the players in FFX, whereas they operate on their own in X-2. Because of this, I never played again after the first match. I personally loved blitzball on FFX. On my first playthrough, I leveled my team up to like level 60 or so, I just couldn't get enough of it. I would use a team of Tidus, Wakka, Brother, Ropp, Jassu and Miyu. It was unstoppable. I would eventually swap out Jassu for Judda in time and possibly Miyu for Nimrook once they were both available. Anyone from the Al Bhed Psychs were a really good choice in the early levels, and would only lose effectiveness once you get to level 40 or so. But yeah, FFX blitz was far better, and I can't wait to play it more when I run through FFX some time in the near future.
