doesn't brandt from the 4 heroes of light look like the warrior of light(dissidia) both have silver hair both use the light and they are part of that final fantasy 1 gaiden

Warrior of Light is essentially an Original Character, representing All of the Warriors of Light in the original game, since they didn't speak. (Albeit the fact that it's actually Fighter in a sense)

Onion Knight is just representing one of the Onion Knights in the original game. Though since it seems they share a personality in the original game (according to what I've heard) kind of makes sense to have only one.

Agree with the above. WoL was made specifically for Dissidia, based off of FF1 logo design more than a true personality of the game (it's a silent party, right?).

Also, someone pointed out to me once that Onion Knight's alt. costume colours resemble Luneth's colouring a whole lot from FFIII.
