me personally, i liked cait sith.....and used this dopey character to beat the game every time...i dunno what it was, but he was cool.

SAD to say, but i have come to find out, that people dont really like cait sith as much....well, post your thoughts on cait sith..did you use em?was he dum?was he cool?etc...i wanna know.

Frankly, I didn't use him that much. I really only used four characters the whole game: Aeris (until you know when), Cid. Cloud, and Red XIII. There was a time I tryed to use every character and I used Cait Sith a bit. He came with a Manipulation materia or something like that when you first get him, which came in handy sometimes.

I'm one of the few people who likes Cait Sith too
There wasn't really a particular reason why I did like him, I just did. I think it might've been the physical appearance of him. A cat riding a giant moogle? Very nice
His Limit Break was good too. Most people think it's pointless having a Limit Break that might kill you, but the odds of that happening are actually very low. You can also possibly get a move that killed all enemies too, so it's a two way street really

Cait Sith isnt my favourite character in 7 but I dont dislike him. I like the man behind Cait Sith better. Reeve was cooler.

I liked him, what he did in the Temple of the Ancients was decent of him. The music made me sad at that part and he trips up over something,g ets back up and carries on to gather the Black Materia. "Dont forget me when the next Caith Sith comes along!"

I guess its the actually plushie CS uses that I love ^^

I'm a real big Cait Sith fan (if my SN didn't give anything away). I think he's rather funny and for when you recruit him he has high enough HP and a decent attack.

The reason why I think he's frowned upon was because of his limit breaks. Seeing as he only has 2 it was extremely disappointing to use him till the end. Besides, I always found Dice to be a better limit than Slots imo.

he was a very unique charactor, but I got kinda upset with him in the game, I didn't like his betryel and he was just kinda wierd

Well in fairness he had no real role after the Temple of the Ancients and you saw nothing of his character after that unless you included him in your party.

The whole Reeve being Cait Sith was really underplayed tbh

I didnt have much of an opinion on mr cait sith i didnt find him particularly usefull or interesting. The only real contribution he made was at the temple of the ancients.....OHH!!!!! i loved that he had a scottish accent!!

OHH!!!!! i loved that he had a scottish accent!!

Am I the only one who is disapointed in that? I really didnt think the accent suited him. I was expecting Reeves voice to be squeeky-ish, like a man who barely spoke up for himself, but with an American accent. It just didnt fit him IMO.

That wasn't Reeve's accent though, it was Cait Sith's own voice. I think you are the only one who's disappointed though. Scottish Cait Sith = the secks :P

Well in fairness, Cait (either pronounced Kate or Cawch) is of Gaelic origin. There are many Irish names like Caitlin (pronounced Kate-lin) and since Scots gaelic is similar to Irish gaelic I can kinda see the connection.

:)

haha i see what ur saying but im scottish so obviously im all for it

I NEVER used him for some reason he just didnt come across as useful to me

I thought he was really funny IMO. As for me using him playwise i used him my first and 2nd time. He was a really good meat shield. As for dealing damage i noticed that he landed Deathblow ALOT with what seemed like only a 5% chance to miss. So it seemed like he owned alot with deathblow materia.

After my next few playthroughs i noticed that other than a meat shield he wasn't really that great. His limit break is very unreliable. I've only been able to get the instant win once and it was against a pointless monster. But i liked him as a character in the game. I thought he was pretty funny except for when he gives away your black materia like an idiot.

He was cool but he had 1 strange attitude on him you have to admit. But at least he had an attitude...actually every character had an attitude to them if you think about it, but you used Cait to beat sephiroth?i dont recall even using cait to beat him ever so good on ya:P

I never used him unless I had to like escaping Junon. He's annoying and he looks just too stupid and weird.

Stupid and weird yeah, when he's on that moogle, and he isn't all that useful in FFVII (except maybe his slots.. then again, they don't work on bosses, so meh).

He looked pretty cool though when he was on RedXIII.
And his accent was sweet.
