Chocobo Forest

Meh, the Garden was useful enough for traveling, chocobos on the other hand you had to waste your time over just catching one, or not catching one and just letting that kid get it for you.
I don't even know why they put that Chocobo thing in there in the first place.

Yea they chocobos were boring in FFVIII and I don't belive what I'm saying but they are actually cool in FF7 and FF9!
 
I had hours of fun breeding chocobos in VII. Why havent the others since kept this and improved on it.
 
Agreed bigtime, I wanna fight a chocobo and own it forever instead of paying... such a ripoff so I got bored and my friend changed some...things in my game and made the chocobo with 999 stats and lvl 100 ^^
I think you can do it with gameshark too, someone test that...
But still, wtf with whistle...
 
Meh, I don't think using the 'Game Shark' on it would make it any more fun, I prefer to play the game without any hacks or cheats. :monster:

Either way, cheat or no, that little side-quest is just no fun at all.
 
yeah this quest was only worth it to me so i could get the card at the end, which if you used in the card queen quest it got you a card that refined to 100 LuvLuvG's...which are very useful. other then that the chocobo quest was complete crap, you couldn't even get a better form of chocobo like blue, red, black, gold, etc. IX and VII have the best ones by far.
 
Yeah I didn't find the Chocobo Forest side quest to be very exciting either. I don't think I even finished it because of that reason. I don't think it is really worth finishing, I might give it a go one day though just so I can say I completed it. :P I am really lazy when it comes to side quests, I couldn't be bothered doing half of them!
 
Lol, yes I did find it boring…

 It was alright the very first time I played through the sidequest, but still kinda boring.

In all truth, out of the countless times that I’ve played this game, I think I’ve only played the Chocobo sidequest twice.
