Chocobuckle

I started the game over to try to get all of the enemy skills as I play through and just got the suicide skill. I am about to get Chocobuckle from a chocobo & was reading up on it. A guy said in his guide that you need to escape from fights 2222 times allowing you to bring your hp from 9999 to 7777 on command. Considering I have not ran from even one battle yet. I am wondering if this is really worth working on.?

I dont think it affects your HP.....it's supposed to do damage based on how many times you escape from battle x by 8 or some shit, but some one fucked up, so all it does is damage bsed on how many battles you have escaped

CAN'T SAY i know for SURE that you're right on the 2222 thingy, but do you REALLY wanna escape that many times to find out? xD

Yeah, I've only seen that it's based on the amount of times you run from battle. I don't recall ever having my HP affected by chocobuckle, but 2222 is a lot of times to run just to find out whether it does. And really, unless you're going for the full set of Enemy Skills for it to look good or say you did it, chocobuckle isn't all that great or powerful and probably not worth it if you don't run from battles.

since it depends on how many times you run away, its not really useful inless you run constantly and it is enough to power it up.

the only real advantage of getting chocobuckle is to say that you completed the Enemy Skill materia.

well the 7777 hit points in battle (it's never happened to me, but I've seen it happen and it requires only one character) has a very hefty bonus (but for the life of me, I can't remember and my official strat book is stashed away - moving sucks and it's still in a box)

With that it's something like if you get your hp to 7777 then all your attacks do 7777 damage. At least I'm pretty sure that's how it goes. For some reason I seem to remember something about that character going into a berserk-type of status? Maybe not.

yeah the 7777 hp status is that the charater goes into berserk or sometink and continually beats the monsters with 7777. THis is very sefull against the weapons but difficult to get your hp on that amount. But I found out hw to do it but this knowledge is now lost to me... Better google it up. And also about the weapons, on youtube there is a vid about a guy who does it with 7777.

Yeah. You have to get your HP to just above 7777 (provided your total HP is above 7777, of course ) and then use the frog transform on one character that you don't want 7777 on or go battle the frog around Gongaga. That character deals 1 damage every time so then you can whittle it down to 7777.

Getting your hp to 7777 is called Lucky 7s. Only downside is after the battle the char who got it has their hp reduced to one.

Yeah, that's how it works. I just pulled the strat. book from under my bed...in addition to being able to say you mastered e.skill, you HAVE to do it to get the Master Command materia...

Lucky 7's mean you go into a rage n' hit 7777 again and again. After battle you are left with 1 hp so that you can't carry it over to another battle. I have had this happen once or twice randomly in all the times I have played. It is extremely rare unless you specifically set a character up. There are different ways like getting a character beaten slowly down until they hit it but I have heard of a combination of things to get you there. I will tell you but be warned I have never tried this..frankly who gives a shit about 7777 when you can hit 9999. BARRET LVL 70, EQUIP MISSING SCORE & WIZARD BRACELET. THEN USE 5X HP PLUS (1star) PHOENIX (2stars) TIME (2stars) BARRIER (2stars) FULLCURE (2stars) DESTRUCT (3stars)
