So this is simple. For the next two weeks simply follow the prompt and take a picture. This is a collaborative community effort, so if we (as a group) manage to post a picture each day until the 20th, everyone who participated will receive a nice grand reward at the end and a good word in for Santa's nice list next year!

We'll all be relying on each other to 'save the day', so please join!
Last event we kinda struggled near the end but hopefully with some Christmas cheer we can pull through for one another!


It has to be real-life subjects - No drawings! But at the same time be as creative as you want just as long as it somehow relates to the prompt of the day.

10th: Christmas Decoration.

Weird combo but my Christmas stuff is a bit discombobulated at the moment. This is my favorite Christmas candy dish though :inlove:

I should explain.

A few years ago I hosted a handmade decoration game on this site. The game was a failure as this was the only entry. It was my entry. The painted ones are Santa-Mog and a chocobo. The unpainted ones are Umaro and BB-8. I couldn't even give myself the victory.

I sealed them in a box and hid them. Today, for the first time since they were sealed away I opened the box because I figured I might as well find a use for them. I've probably exposed myself to a myriad curses now. I would have been safer opening an Egyptian sarcophagus.
 
Dan, I love your Chocobo and Santa-Mog! You better put a string on them and put them on a tree! I would have absolutely submitted an entry to the contest if I was around at the time!


I was looking for my snowman I needle felted but I think I may have given it to my mom as I couldn't find it to take a picture :sad3:

Something my late Grandad made.
He was a carpenter and created hundreds of little figures but this is one I have.

I wasn't sure if it had to be a Christmas ornament or not but I had to panic and grab the nearest thing when I realised we were about to fail.
 
I planned on submitting my ornament today but I've been busy since early morning :dead:

One of my favourite films. I'm still thinking about when I saw the music performed live with many of the original singers two weeks ago while the movie played on a big screen. That was quite something.
 
Is it snowing for anyone else today?

If the answer is "no" like it is for me, we might struggle with today's photo challenge!
