Cid vs Cid

I like FFVII's Cid the best. He's made the biggest impression upon me. Dr. Cid was interesting, as it was a nice change having a Cid be the villain, but, I still prefer the Cid of FFVII.

Dr Cid was epic. He was like this mad scientist who used all facts to his benefit in order to try to convince us that his ways were logically correct. Strange though, for him the ends did justify the means. Also, Dr Cid seemed to be one of those antagonist that we were quite reluctant to hate. I admit I found his death unappealing, for he deserved an even bigger role.

Cid is a character who appears, or is at least mentioned, in all Final Fantasy installments, except Final Fantasy I, as previously mentioned.

I prefer Cid from FFVIII myself. I can see how Cid from FFVII is a likable character, but he really wasn't a character I would ever truly like. He was comical at times, but more annoying than anything. I really prefer him in FFVII: AC over FFVII. I found him to be less outspoken and annoying. But the main reason I prefer VIII's is because I found him to be such a motivating, supportive, and wise NPC.

My favorite Cid would have to be Regent Cid of FFIX. I mean, come on. He's a frog for most of the game. 8D

EDIT: Wait, no, wasn't he one of those weird things... um... I dunno. But he was something small that people were disgusted by.

Cid vs cid vs cid

How many cids are there in all the final fantasy's and do they plan to make another cid in final fantasy 13?

Does he even have any lines in AC...? I guess you DID say he was less outspoken...But maybe I'm remembering wrong...>_>

He was still cocky, but he just grinned and fought the enemies, which means less talking, so I counted that towards being less outspoken. Maybe it wasn't that he was less outspoken, maybe I just wanted a reason to not dislike him.
