Cid

Not really as that will give major spoilers out!!! Why dont you just play the game and find out for yourself what hes like?
 
Well this is a stupid thread... there's a bunch of sites which already have information about all characters FF-related.

A basic summary though:

A scientist/researcher in Draklor Laboratories, his life's work revolves around nethicite. Since
the death of the first Emperor
, Vayne assigned Cid to work closely with himself, not allowing any information pass outside of the laboratory.

Basically, Doctor Cid is a high-ranking Archadian employee. There's a few spoilers within the telling of his character, so I dumbed all those out. Try researching some things yourself before asking everyone else...
 
I agreay with Saix. If this docter Cid is someone you must do your home work on then this methord is pointless use the more triditional way witch is to search his name n the carechter profiles for final fantasy 12 rather than confuse those of us who havent even mad it across the border yet. So do your reserch the triditional way.

Considering most, if not ALL Cid's to date have been a 'good' guy, it was a refreshing change to see Cid go bad. VIII's Cid made me want a villainous Cid from the moment I saw him. I was satisfied. :cool:
 
I could never amagin an evil Cid since evem thought the Cid in final fantasy 7 was abit hard to aproch he was a good peorson all he needed was some motivation and he reviald his true coulers faster that anyone could say chocabo. So I would not call this Cid a bad gey yet maybe he's playing Vaan and if so it sounds like he's playing him like a harp.
 
i guess i am just used to cid helping the party and why did this cid not have an airship or have any referance to highwind?

Because they don't have to. 'Cid' and 'airships' don't have to go hand in hand.
 
Well in FF XII, Cid
is basically evil, you fight him two times, and you get an esper from him.

Might I also say he has a large gun that doesn't fit anywhere on his body. And man, it shoots hot stuff out!

Well actually if you think about it he has a pretty damn hot airship
He's the one who summoned the Bahamut, man if you don't like that nice big huge mother...well sky pirate definetly shouldnt be one of your jobs you're aiming for.
