Wow! i HAVE played VII thank you and you would be spamming the topic which it is best for all members including me to stay ontop of. Just read the basic Rules and Regulations and youll be fine, Cooky, no worries.

And this is basically everyones thoughts and opinions about the main character.
My opinion is as stands. i DID have a FEW great laughs at him, for he cried and winned every so often i couldnt help but burst out laughing with my friends. The Honest truth, Cooky, and please dont call me a "fanboy"

I love Cloud, I really do. Is he overrated? Well, I personally agree with the majority here, but well, he IS a cool hero. I praise him highly because of who he is and what he's done.

However, I have to disagree about him being emo. (Same for Squall.) I'd really like to hear how people define the word "emo". I think the word is misused in so many ways. They call people emo when someone cries or shows some emotion. No, it doesn't work that way...

Cloud showed emotions when dealing with Aerith's death. I don't see it as being emo. Erm, because if that was the case, then I'm thinking almost everyone in this world is emo, assuming that the majority in this world shows emotions towards someone or something - which is, by the way, normal in my opinion.

So no, I don't hate Cloud, and he is definitely not emo, IMO.

THAT is spam and I do not want to see it again. He was not emo in the movie. If you paid attention to any of the above posts, you'd realize that emo is derived from the world "emotional" and Cloud doesn't show hardly ANY emotion in that movie.

Ok ~YES~ Cloud IS over-rated But in no way is he emo. Like LA said he only ever shows emotion after Aeris' Death but apart from that he keeps his emotions firmly under lock and Key, and for the record - he was NOT emo in the Movie he was feeling guilty:

I just hate the fact that so many people saw the movie without ever playing the game and are all "LYK ZOMG CLOUD IZ LIKE PROPAR AMAZING!!!!111 HES SOOOOOOO STORNG AND HE CAN FLY!!!!!!"

I've played the game a few times, and i've got to admit I do really like him from the game, well from what I remember the more I read this forum the more it makes me remember FFVII. Which as you know is great i'm not going to debate the whole emo issue as LA and everyone has pretty much proven that to be faulse

Anyway I voted that I love him, the movie I think was a great way to show a level 100 Cloud with the flying and the over the top agi, well he would have 255 agi so him be able to do all that stuff I think is alright. So anyway back to my point I think he is great had a great personalty and I think i love him as much as i love most of the other lead people in FF.
